Bucky is on the other side of a 10' high fence with barbed wire.

"I've already started digging a hole. Have you finished exploring the park yet? I could slip under the fence easier than you."

"So you think it would be best if we were to try to figure out a way to get you over to this side of the fence?"

"Not over, UNDER! There's got to be some stuff inside this place look how cool it is!!!!"

Okay then, let's see if we can do this.
*Begins digging*
(Malach, how long would it take to dig under the fence?)

"I looked around the park a bit, but I'm also pretty curious about the rest of this island. We can take another look around if you want, but first we have to concentrate on getting you over here."

((I dig more. I intentionally found an area where the earth was fairly sandy, so it should be pretty easy digging.))

I take the two of you about 20 minutes but you manage to dig a hole big enough for Bucky and he slips though.

"Well, glad that's done with. What would you like to do now?"

"Hey Mr. Flaherty, remember that creepy sun room last night? Do you figure all that stuff was real, or do you think they were effects for Mr. World's TV show?"

(Lead on my friend.)

"I don't know, it was probably all just special effects. They were probably trying to scare us, makes for better entertainment I suppose. Let's not let it get to us though ;) "

(That drink stuff did give me a wierd feeling, but I'm not going to tell this little scared child that I think there is some sort of supernatural force at work here :lol: )

"Have you been in the park long? Where have you been? What did you find?"

"I've been here a few hours. When I woke up I checked out the haunted house, food pavilion, and the ballroom. It felt a bit strange walking around an abaondoned amusement park, but there wasn't much to find."

(Again, I'm just holding back from telling him about how creepy it was :angelic: I'm such a good person.)

"I wonder if the ferris wheel still works? If one of us got in it and the other operated it, we could get a good idea how big the island is."

"I haven't seen a ferris wheel yet(Have I?), the largest thing I noticed was the old roller coaster."

This is the map you come up with:



Area 1: is where Bucky started
Area 2: (the yellow) is the amusement park

North is up
The green is the forest
Going West the land rises
You are unsure where the large opneing in the trees to the south goes.
North of the Amusement park is the large dock/boradwalk.

You notice nothing overly unusual, beside the normal abandoned amusement park stuff. The ferris wheel seems to be in fairly good condition as compared to the rest of the facility.

(BUG, I will NPC you character also as needed)

Does the ferris wheel appear to be working? Would it be safe enough to take a quick ride on?

*We try running it with nobody in it first. If it works, one of us will go in and ride to the top. maybe we can elaborate on our map, or at least choose a destination.*

You find the power switch, turn it one, but nothing (you could climb ;) )

(That was plan B. How sturdy does it look? Would it be able to support my weight along with BUG's? Or just one of us? Just him maybe, he is a child after all.)

"Well, look's like we're going up."

(it look sturdy, but who knows how long it has been standin here. There is a rung ladder running down the middle)

We decide to climb up the ladder, slowly. He'll go up first, and I'll follow to catch him just in case he slips up.

It is surprisingly easy and sturdy climb, whille a little dizzying. You both make it to the top.

*Look over the island. Try and get and idea of its size and any other major landmarks like amusment parks, rivers, etc...

We work on our map (knowing our point of perspective may lead to some inaccuracies).*

Yoou look over the island, but get little new iformation as a large fogbank has covered most of it. What you do see is about 2 or so miles away, the land does rise fairly high, and there is a large mansion atop this rise. (Further East). Knowing this fog is not uncommon, it should be completly burned off by 9AM.

"That mansion looks pretty promising, too bad about the fog though."

Bucky and James decide to head back down and explore the amusement park for a while until they think the fog will have cleared up.

"So, Bucky was it? What do you want to check out first?"

((is there a midway? games, food stands, things of that nature? we could just start sticking our heads in the different boothes. we might be able to find something cool. tools, rope, pellet guns, maybe some sort of clue to the whereabouts of the phone.))

You could take the next couple of hours searching the Amusement park, and then the fog will have burnt off?

"Lets look around the park for a while. i think the fog will lift soon, then we can try climbing the ferris whel again."

The two of you spend a couple of hours seraching the park, for anything useful. This is what you find:

1. Several hundred feet of various kinds of wire
2. 80' feet of thick hemp rope
3. Wood, and plenty of it in all shapes and sizes
4. Several wooden Skeeballs
5. Tokens
6. 2 BB Guns and thousands of BB's
7. Several Darts
8. Pipes
9. Hammer
10. Screwdriver
