I have been watching this recently. Really good. If you are a fan of the Eastman and Laird Originals, this has that flavor.

I've seen some of them when they were on Fox. Did you happen to catch the episode where Casey gets captured and sends the kid to "find his friends in the warehouse on the corner of Eastman and Laird"? I almost died laughing. :D

No but I like the fact that he is in there, the Fugitoid, Triceratons, etc, etc.

Yes, I do enjoy the new TV series. I was really prejudiced at first, but after giving it a chance I've found that it really isn't as bad.

I remember liking the old cartoon series - but I'm not sure if I would now ;) I do still enjoy the movies though - being a fan of Jim Henson helps there. (Have you ever been to a pizza place and the people at the table behind you start quoting the movies?)

Unfortunately, I never read the original comics. I did manage to read one overseas, but as I was young, I didn't take note of the author. All I can remember was that the cover was yellow and that the turtles were dressed in ancient clothing (sort of like in the third movie), but it wasn't related to the movies at all. They were in the future or something - it was weird. It was in the middle of the story and I can remember thinking it was so cool - but very confusing since I didn't get to see the beginning or the end. Did any of you guys see this one?

Being a fan of the Early orignal comics I hated the first series. it made a mockery of the orignal comic books. The originals were a dark spoof of superhero comics, but with little comedy. It was in the vein of some of the darker Daredevil/Batman series.

The first cartoon, and movie to some effect made the charaters silly. The recent cartoon, much of what is in there is taken form the original comics.

The new show isn't all that bad actually. I kinda like it. I was a realy big fan of the Turtle when I was a kid, and I didn't think that i would like this show, but hey, I guess I was wrong. :D
