Did anyone watch it last night. It was really good, and set the JL up for some lineup changes.

Hopefully, we'll be seeing a JS spin-off after that. Justice Leage Unlimited.
Many other heros leave in that show and new ones come!

WARNING SPOILER FOLLOWING::
The basic jist of the movie is that Hawkgirl is really a spy sent to Earth so her homw planet can take it over, the JL finds out, Hawkgirl has a change of heart and later resigns.
Big Uncle Gorilla - June 4, 2004 12:35 AM (GMT)
I didn't see it, but between this thread and some other sites, I got the jist of it.

Maybe one of our DC Comic Geeks can offer some insight to this question; if one of your allies was a spy, wouldn't the mind-reading martian have picked up on that at some point?
MoltarKC64 - June 4, 2004 12:38 AM (GMT)
Hmm, good point ;) Did Hawkgirl know she was a spy, or was she sent to earth as a baby or something like Superman?
Hercule Kai Recoome9 - June 4, 2004 02:11 AM (GMT)
She knew, they reveal that much in the movie
Crystal Velvet - June 7, 2004 07:35 AM (GMT)
Yes! I agree, this was a lot of fun to watch. The dialog was tons of fun - and I too really enjoyed the secret identities scenes. I even enjoyed Alfred ^_^
Malach - June 7, 2004 01:43 PM (GMT)
Perhaps, Martian Manhunter repspects his friends privacay and doesn't go around reading their minds.
MoltarKC64 - June 7, 2004 04:02 PM (GMT)
^OK that makes sense... "secret identity scenes"?
Malach - June 7, 2004 06:14 PM (GMT)
The Jl spent half the movie out of costume, and as their secret Identities, I don't think I have ever seen the Flash unmkased, and have never seen Hawkgirl unmasked.
MoltarKC64 - June 7, 2004 08:51 PM (GMT)
Nope. Those two are never without costume ;)
Malach - June 7, 2004 08:54 PM (GMT)
Yeah the spend most of the movie without them. BTW, Hawkgirl's pretty cute for a winged freak.
Crumb - June 7, 2004 09:03 PM (GMT)
hawkgirl was actually seen once without her mask cant remember what episode though
Big Uncle Gorilla - June 8, 2004 01:53 AM (GMT)
she took off her helmet to kiss GL at the end of an episode.
Malach - June 8, 2004 01:14 PM (GMT)
Oh, I somehow missed that one.
Crystal Velvet - June 9, 2004 02:18 AM (GMT)
I remember seeing that particular episode, but I can't seem to remember which one it was. They were hinting toward a pairing between GL and Hawkgirl for some time, but that episode actually paired them up. I just can't remember what happened during the rest of the episode - because it was so different from the ending.
