Harbinger - One that indicates or foreshadows what is to come; a forerunner

Decided to make my own stab at this whole Clan thing. The process is simple. To become one of the 5 Harbingers you need simply to express your interest. From there you will be evaluated on your actions on these boards, rank, playstyle, and of course...Trial by Gauntlet.

Slams are not required, X deck is not required, a certain number of Gtoons is not required...SKILL is required, CREATIVITY is required, and STRATEGY is required.

I will choose my Harbingers during the course of this week. Good luck to you all.

lol ive got the gtoons but im not much of a deckbulider. at least the way some people talk about themselves and their skill i feel like im not that good. anyway my record is i think 171-30, id be interested

just to let people know, as far as im concerned all those older clans are as much as dismantled. i was in volteis, that one w/ raven phoenix... well idk wat happened to that one, same w/ morphlings clan. id like to be a harbinger( :lol: fun to say) :lol: :lol:

I'm going to be re-recruiting members for my clan to update my line-up.

So that means Taz can join this one now. :lol:

like i said, a few of the people that were around when we formed those old clans left, others lost interest.....

On an sorta related note...Rank isn't everything ya know. Sure, being ranked 66th and not having any slams is kinda fun (GO ME!), but if you do the math I win about 72% of the games I play. The top 100 are nowhere near the god status people think they are. For example.

They both win the same percentage of the games they play. One of them is in it for the rank...the other is a collector who casually plays, but stil gets the job done when he does play.

Of Course, in my own defence...I do have a bad habit of trying to push the envelope in new directions. I don't play JL decks, Animal Decks, or Eds Decks if I can avoid it. If I played these I would more than likely be a higher rank. I've lost a very decent amount of games trying to make Monster/Vehicle/Place/Silver/Whatever decks that actually work(So annoyed that the Woolie Combo doesn't work). The only reason I have a PPG deck is back when this whole Gtoon thing started...I just decided I wanted one. It's the ONLY deck I have that is based on one of the original 4 designs I was using. I've merely adapted it as new Gtoons present themselves, It used to have Mr.Spacely in it for crying out loud (Hey, he was orange). ;)

Same here. I am ranked 102, but only win 71% of the time. And like Enigma, I like to mess around with decks so I probably lose alot more than I should. In my own defense, 4 months ago my record was like 99 and 115, and then I finally got enough points to buy the gtoons I wanted. Now I am 718 and 298, so in that time my win percentage to about 77%.

Although I don't know exact numbers, I do have very good win percentages against the top twenty. I annoy them, and get challenged by them constantly. I think I am like 15 and 2 vs. Dr. X Gruesome, and 10 and 3 and Cindy Gravel Cell. It funny the minute I sign on to the challenge zone, Dr. X is in my face.

Update: just beat Cindy's Liberty Belle deck, 25 to 8, she was mad. She forfeited before the final score. :lol:

Further Update: Beat it twice and she logged out of the Challenge Zone.

Yeah, I've beaten Cindy and Dr. X quite a few times. I'm usually on late at night when Berniefoo Morbucks2 is on and I can beat him about...ok, like 50% of the time. He ONLY uses his Slam/Ed deck and when I do win the score is something like 4-7, or 9-10. Course he's got a 92% win ratio so I like to say I have contributed heavily to that 8% loss part. ;)

I haven't battled him much (maybe three times or so) but I know I have at least 1 win against him.

The only problem I see honestly is the fact that if you look at who is shaping up to be this group and who is shaping up to be in Voltei's group....we're running out of active board members who actually play Gtoons. One of you mod-types needs to light a fire under some of the people you know that play since you've been here longer than I have. ;)

hey I know I'm new on the board but the clan thing seems pritty cool, I'd like to check it out for no other reason except to find some actually good players. If ya would I'm willing to get tried out/ gauntlet I've only been playin since the score whipe for bout..a week or 2.. of my 17ish losses like 6are from top 5 players(4from berniefoo) and like 4 are from happy behind players that make you wait for 10hrs untill you quit waiting and then leave and lose, and like 4 are from my stupid 56k isp dropping me or computer lock ups

This name has always been my name though, so I had like..40ish losses and few wins before I figured out wich end is up with the whole Gtoon arena making my win loss ratio like..400/50
