st. anger was pretty bad. contrary to what most fans would tell you, i think some of metallica's best stuff is on load and re-load (so is their worst stuff). st. anger was bad. i'm sorry but they are not the same band w/o jason newstead. bring him back, dig up cliff, or call it a day and go home.

Jason was a jerk but he could play. I personally like the Kill 'Em All album. Jump in the fire, the four horsemen, seek and destroy, etc. can't go wrong there
