you lived in south park how would you look like and who would you hang out with?

I would hang out with KYLE,CARTMAN,KENNY AND STAN!I would look like....well I would have dark brown hair and usually wear expensive shoes like phat farm,baby phat and fubu!I will probably stand out!LOL!

Ok, here's the deal people. It's nice that some of you like to make polls and such, but seriously some of these are not very good at all. So let's try to take a small step back from quantity of polls and focus more on quality of polls. There have been some very well thought out polls here in the past and I am sad to say...this isn't one of them. So I have decided to completely hijack this thread to make a few points to all of you. All that I am asking, and trust me I am not alone in this one, is that you people making all of these polls take a few steps to improve the process.

1) Think out the poll before you launch it. That means you think out the options, do a little basic grammar/spellchecking, and actually put some thought into it. I know I'm pretty much picking on good old southpark4ever here(sorry south, but you need to read this too), but if my name was "Batman" and I did 20 polls on the different aspects of Batman then it would get pretty old pretty quickly("Which is the coolest Batman", "If you had to do Bruce Wayne's Laundry for a week would you enjoy it?", blah, blah blah, blah blah blah). It gets old after a while. Think up some new material.

2. After you've taken the time to think out your new poll...how about putting some thought into the topic title. Again, not to pick on southpark4ever here, but I am hijcacking his poll and it is a perfect example. "If..." is not a poll topic. It's an intentionally vague and short statement that gives the reader absolutely no cluse about what the thread is about. If this were my poll(not bloody likely, but let's pretend) then it would be "Hanging out in South Park" or "If you could hang out in South Park" or something that at least gives half a clue to what the thread is about. Again, I'm not asking people here to cure Cancer....just think some more than they already are....

3. Let's try to be a tad considerate to other people who want to start polls. If you start 10 polls in a day and I start one then you pretty much buried my poll, which might have been better, in the bottomless abyss of this forum. Try to pace yourselves so that everyone gets an equal chance to be on the front page for a little bit.

4. I don't know how many times I have said this....but post counts are absolutely and completely useless here. If you're starting all of these polls to get your post count up and you think that it's helping to make you into a better member then you're pretty much fooling yourself and only yourself. Your post count here means....diddely squat. So if this is your motivation then you're not helping yourself....actually, you're more than likely damaging your reputation among the members.

You get the picture.

Now before you all think,"Wow he sure is letting southpark4ever have it!" you better take a step back and have a serious look at yourselves. This post is in no way, shape, or form directed at one person. This post is directed at a whole bunch of people who are using these forums. Southpark4ever just happened to be the person who made the post that "broke the camel's back" so to speak.

So take my words to heart and let's try to make the polls section a better place.....because if some of you don't shape up, and I mean soon, the next time I have this conversation with all of you I'm going to bring "New Rules" with me and then it's going to get a whole lot more painful. I trust it won't come to this though, please...for your sake...don't make me wrong.

Since this is now my poll.....I'm closing it and pinning it. Let it stand as a beacon to all of you whom I am speaking to....

To add to that point: Please do not post in an old poll, while it some members don't mind. It buries the newer, recent polls. So keep in mind, I will hunt you down.
