OK, home from the office today, watched The New Scooby Doo Movies starring Batman and Robin. Episode Copyrighted 1970 (this was even before I was born). It was very interesting to see how different Batman and Robin are compared to 30+ years ago. The Joker and Penguin were in it too. It was very funny, and very weird. Batman and Robin - abiguuosly happy, sort of bumbling, take Superman's sense of good and justice and make it extreme. The Joker - more heterosexual, less insane, crazy 1920's gangster acccent, more bumbling that Batman and Robin. The Penguin - essential a flunky of the Joker, with a high pitched effeminant voice.

I could not stop laughing. Now CN needs to replay old Superfriends episodes. Those two cartoons were my favorite when I was a boy. The dialogue is so poorly written and the animation makes South Park look like Monet. How times have changed. . .
