Title: which windows version do you use?

what i would like to know is what windows version everyone uses. while looking for code to learn from lately i found a bunch that said they would only show color on windows xp so i tryed them (i use windows ME, yes i know its a pile) and they dident have color (shoulda have been ovious dont you think?) anyway if code works for 1 person and doesnt for another and there both using the same compiler its probly the OS difference- if we can learn to make programs to work on as many versions of windows as possible more people will use them

I use Windows ME. I don't find it to be as bad as some people claim it is. <_<

I have ME, it is pretty buggy but I usually only get annoying bugs. (I'll get the notepad icon on my BMP files once in a while.)

Windows eXtra Panic PRO... It is pretty good! It doesn't crash often.... :P

Win98 crashed more often but never something serious happend. XP crashes less often but...
3 out of around 15 times I need to reformat the disk :angry: ^
I prefered Win98!

Heh I have been using this computer about 1 ½ years and I haven't reinstalled XP or reformatted my drive! :P
Once it was close though, but I managed to use the rollback system... HUH! :)

i think a lot of people reformat their computers when they dont really have to i mean i have been using this one for a year and a half, havent had any problems other than the occasional bluescreen of death which pops up at the worst times, and i bought it used and the guy had it for about 6 or 8 months. i have had people tell me that have to reformat their computer and reinstall windows because of clicking on a do not click here.

Yeah... I have to reformat this eventually because there is so much crap on my HD already... It will slow my computer down. But I wait until I buy that 120 GB HD and Backup important files :D

I use Windows 98SE, the best operating system ever created. :D I reformat every few months even though I don't have to.
