I need help regarding win32 programming in C++. I can now create my own controls such as buttons and stuff, but how do I use them? I tried to download an example from one of the sites Xception suggested, but I get a compiler error when trying to compile it.

Example: If I have a button, how can I get the program to display a message when the button is pressed?

Never mind. Turns out I was compiling it as a console application. Where did the "Edit" button go?
