2002 Dell 2.4 ghz 512 RAM, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound, 80 gigs

2000 Dell 833 mhz 128 RAM, some Nvidia from 2000, 30 gigs

1999 Dell 500 mhz 128 RAM, some Nvidia from 1999, 10 gigs(30 with slave drive)

1983 POS, 400 kb RAM, about 30 kb left on the hard drive(though i suspect it might have been 100 kb without all the stuff on it) plays frogger, digger, paratrooper, and my beloved battle chess, and has sustained near daily use since we first bought it way back when.

my dad competes against dell, o well looks like another Dell user

gateway setup, lazer mouse, ergonomic keyboard, 32 gigs , 56k. nothin fancy but it gets the job done.

gateway, wow i completely forgot about them. i used to have a gateway comp...p2 233 mhz i believe, thats all i remember though, it was from 1996. might have even been a p1. i remember how my brothers freaked when i downloaded a 10 meg download, they said i was gonna destroy the comp and lose our house(dont ask).

and other software, all legal copies, most of the software I bought from ebay, therefore it wasn't even that expensive.
And I laugh at the people who have cracked versions of compilers. At least with Delphi you have to register your copy, if you don't and release a commercial or shareware software, then good luck. It's no problem to find out if the program was made with a legal copy of the compiler.

Programs...I got lots of those. Photoshop 7, Game Maker, Dreamweaver, Reality Factory, MS3D, Gmax, Adventure Game Studio, Adventure Maker, 3D Adventure Maker, Alice, Blender, Wings 3D, PRGMaker 2003, VPE, Teddy2, a 2 gig folder on just C++ stuff...basically if its free and downloadable, I have it :) I have some misc. DX and OpenGL stuff too.

I GOT A NEW PUTER! i was at a yard sale today and there was a free one there. i got it home and realized it had no power cord so i just used my spare one. here are the stats of this "new " puter i got:

windows 98
a blazing 64mb of RAM
a whopping 1.5 gb of hdd space (500mb free space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
no modem that i know of

although this is one area i'd rather not! :lol:

Get some new burner software that uses harddrive buffers.

Go to:
Start->Run
Type MSConfig and press OK
Go to the startup tab
Uncheck pretty much everything except like really important things or things that only happen at startup like ScanReg
Restart your computer and if anything bad happens just reboot in safe mode and put back whatever you shouldn't have removed
