the best help is in a book, so probably go to a borders or barnes and noble or some bookstore and find something that suitts your needs

the best help IN YOUR OPINION is in a book. irl i know a proffetional java programmer who learned mostly from online tutorials and says he prefers them to books. i myself prefer books .

true, it is an opinion, online is usually free, yet it lacks stuff, while a book costs money, it has more content

A good library system is a n00b programmer's best friend.

It remains good, but after a point you can usually figure something out just by reading compiler\sdk documentation or by finding stuff online. (At least I can, but I have a compiler that came with 170mb of well-indexed e-books)
