i use a (well worn) copy of dietel &deitel learn to program c++ 3rd edition. what i was using was online tutorials but i want to learn when im not at the computer too you can get a good deal on programming books at ebay.

My first C++ book (I actually haven't finished it yet, keep picking other stuff up :P ) was Jesse Liberty's C++ From Scratch
