ok i dunno whats going on here but i cant see anything in my C:\ folder but it says theres stuff in there, and in internet exploror i cant right click a link and open it in a new window anymore. not terribly harmfull problems just anoying. anyone got ideas?

So when you click drive C does there read anything? And have you made sure that you haven't hid them yourself? :D

I don't know with these tips whats wrong...

My brother had the same problem except he couldn't see anything on the whole computer. He could only access files by manually typing in the directory. He ended up reformating his windows partition. If you're really don't want to format, you could use winfile as your shell.

i know somewhere there is something called hide files, maybe you have to get to where it asks that and change it, i know my computer can hide files but i dont remember how to acess it

yeah but im too lazy to install them :lol: i dont think it was an intruder cause i rebooted my comp several times and disconected it from the net. it just started working fine one day. windows bug mosat likely

i suggest u install those firewalls, if you dont want stuff happening to your comp, i have a really tight one
