well after consulting with some people in the game maker forum and deciding invision board would be the best choice for a free message board i took the liberty and made a forum. once we get more members (enough to make it so we have to have mods) i will be making people mods. here are the rules we have to abide by so the invisionfree people dont delete this board:

thats ok if you just want to be a lurker but no spamming no one likes spam exept maybey for the food kind-- maybey i can figure out how to make a forum where posts wont count cause everyone needs to get a little flaming/spamming out once in a while ;)

well i decided on NOT making a spam forum cause i remembered its against invisions rules and i dunno about you but i dont wanna get the board deleted. anyways posts in off topic will no longer count cause someone will use it as a "spam" forum sometime or other.

can i have the urls for those images? i was gonna look at the source of the page and its the weirdest thing i have ever seen. i was then going to download those pictures and upload one as thelogo but it said that the upload option isnt currently avalible on this board. then i noticed that at the bottom of the board it says its a beta.. so that explains it. so just get the urls and well have a logo! :D

You can right click and it shows the address in the properties window :P

well i put the url in and nothing happened... probly a problem with the beta. i will e mail the invisionfree people.

First put the url in the image macro, next make sure you select "Use replacement" then click the submit button. If it still doesnt show this means you aren't usng a custom skin, if I can find the right topic on the InvisionFree support form I can help your futher with this as the boards have upgraded past what Im used too.

well i think we need more members before anyone gets modded/ or if i start working more often then i will mod someone even if we dont get more members. plus if anyone gets modded they need experiance with ib board and PREFERABLY they should be good at c++ (or at least better than the average bear)

well i went to addme.com and added this board to a bunch of search engine spiders so hopefully in a week or 2 we should see more visitors.

Addme always send bots to the website entered.

Can you change the title from Invision Board to C++ Learning Community - A Forum To Help Beginners Learn C++ Programming or something like that. It would really help with search enginge indexing

well i dunno if u can from an existing community, plus most of them have you include a description.

Admin CP > Basic Config/Settings > Title

Try that. And if you want to you can add your own meta tags to help in search engines.
