MASH (1970) - this was the full length movie that inspired the 1970's/early 1980's classic TV series . .. anti-establishment/anti Vietnam war movie... completely hilarious. This movie had me in stitches. After watching it I knew I had to watch the series. I've been watching the TV series M*A*S*H fanatically since 1998 after watching the 1970 movie adaptation on the History channel. While I'm crazy about M*A*S*H, I have other obsessions, Star Trek (since 1987, yay, my longest ever obsession), and most recently Alias (like duh).

When Harry met Sally... my favourite all time romantic movie.

Star Trek II (1982): The Wrath of Khan . . . the best Star Trek movie ever... and you don't have to be a trekkie to love it... "Burried alive!!!!" Khan is the best Trek villian ever created . . . although if you *love* the Borg you'd disagree.

Star Trek VIII: First Contact. This movie didn't have a script number on the posters but it was the eighth movie made by the franchise. Star Trek: The Next Generation was my favourite TV series for a long time ... and is like my ummm, second, no third favourite series of all time. And hey, this movie involved the Borg!!!! It starred Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner, and all my favourite characters.... undoubtedly the best ST:TNG movie ever made. The Borg Queen was introduced in this movie . .. ohhhh.... I just love to hate her . . . she was defeated by Data and her organic part was killed by a poisonous gas.... she supposedly died there . . . but due to the mysteries of her origin... she resurfaced on Star Trek: Voyager years later, or possibly the Borg got a new queen.

Schindler's List (1994): This movie definately deserved it's Oscars. This movie was just so powerful... made me cry through out it.... And the musical score was beautiful . . . yet solemn.

Braveheart: Ditto... since someone else mentioned it. I loved Mel Gibson's performance especially.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers: I loved the first two parts... but loved the second more so than the first one. I can't wait until the final part arrives in the theatres!!! My favourite fantasy movie of all time...

Lord of the Rings runs a close Second on my list! That movie kicks ass!!

There are so many good movies... Hm, I like "City Of Angels" - Nicolas Cage is so great in it. "Lord Of The Ring", of course and "Indiana Jones", "Braveheart", "Star Wars" (Episode 3-5).

other for me. I can't pick just one. I love Waking Ned Divine, Harry Potter 2, The Secret of Roan Inish, lord of the rings, star wars..... eeek! I like so many :wub:

I have many favorite movies but especially Dirty Dancing, Pearl Harbor, Harry Potter and Sweet Home Alabama! They rock my socks!
