How did you get into Alias? Did you see the commercials and decided to watch? Did a friend or family member get you into it? Tell here!

My dad got me into it. He watched for like forever and I didn't. Then one night I came into the living room because I was bored and saw that he was watching it. After just a few minutes I was addicted!

One of my freinds got me to start watching it, since we like most of the same things I also became a fan when he told me just to watch it :D

Well it was January first of 2002. I remember cuz I was resting on the couch from New Years Eve. I was flipping through the channels and came across Alias on ABCFamily. They were having an Alias marathon and I thought it was a movie at first. So I watched it for the rest of the day. And ever since then I havent miss an episode. :D

i started watching last year when i was taking down christmas lights there was an alias marathon on abc family... i became hopelessly devoted

I started watching since the pilot eppy.... :)

my cousin told me about but know im way more obsessed then she is i love alias hehehe

I recognised JG, MV and VG from the adds, decided to check it out (taped it just in case it turned out i would love it) and loved it, why am i speaking past tense, i LOVE it!

B) I get jealous when I hear about all you people who watched from the beginning Teehee. I didn't get into it until this summer. I caught two episodes last year towards the end of the season, and was pretty lost so I figured I'd start at the beginning of the new season. And of course I watched the marathon on ABC family before the premiere in September!

Man I wish I were smart like you guys and gotten into it in time to watch that marathon! I still haven't seen the earlier episodes (except the premiere). Makes waiting for the DVD even more exciting though! :reallyexcited:

I saw commercials for it on ABC family and I thought it was REALLY COOL and watched the first episode when it aired. After that, I was addicted. AND NOW I'M EVEN MORE ADDICTED! ALIAS RULES!!!!!!

whenever i saw commercials for it(before i became obsessed) i was like 'WOW! THAT GIRL CAN KICK BUT!'

ya I always saw the promos and they looked really cool

my sister asked me how i started into the alias obsession the other day and i launched out into this whole story with elaborate details and she goes "... uh yeah. that's what'll you'll be telling the shrink one day."

:wub: From the start of the first promo! I could hardly wait. Haven't missed any episode, even when I vacationed. Was gone for 3 weeks in 02 but my friend taped the 3 episodes for me. Boy, I would have been - grrrrr - if I had. :angry: Anyway I was intrigued from the start and this year was even better when LO was hired to do Mom. :D

myself cause usually on that time my mum is watching some kind of soap and i stumbled it on accident while zapping..i cant see all the eps though. i also have footie practice and so on and our vcr is broken for along time...which was my fault exactly

a friend told me about the show and said it was the greatest so i decided to check it out and i ended up being hooked.

i started watching reruns from the first season and thought they were awesome so i watched the show ever since

I was sick, and saw the daytime reruns of season One, and then saw the preview for Phase One, and haven't looked back since!

I saw ad's for the first episode and wacthed it. Since then I have been hooked.

i found both seasons on a site 3 weeks ago, and i watched them. wish i'd never done it, i got way to emotionally involved :) i've been depressed ever since i saw the season 2 finale...

well i'm hooked now anyways :D

I've been watching since the beginning :D Before Alias I watched the X-files on Sundays. I skipped the final season of the X-files to watch Alias.

I was just checking every channel one night to see if there was anything I could watch, and I suddenly saw 'Reckoning'. I thought it was great, but I forgot about it for a while until I discovered Net 5, a Dutch TV station was going to do a rerun of season one. When I saw the pilot, I was hooked. Unfortunately, Net 5 cancelled the show somewhere near the end of the season. I have been able to watch Alias on a Belgian TV station, but now they've cancelled it as well - right in the middle of a friggin' cliffhanger where Syd is trapped under the ice! :reallyexcited:

Actually, I decided to watch it b/c I saw the promo for it during its second season and I was always a fan of Micheal Vartan from "Never Been Kissed". I saw one episode and I loved the chemistry between Sydney and Vaughn and I was hooked. The day they finally "kissed" rocked my world! And now Jen & Michael are together which rocks even more!!! :wub:

That sucks Credit Dauphine!! have you been able to watch any new eps since then? I really got into Alias (like going on MBs) while waiting and waiting for Season 2, which was a long and infuriating wait. Now once a while I make jokes about emetib, like today ^_^

I had watched bit and pieces of Alias for a while but because I'm in England it was always on at crazy hours of the night or not on for two weeks for something. So I could never ger into it and the story never made any sense. Though I had gotten the general gist of what was going on. Then one day I caught the tail end of an episode and heard Jack tell Sydney that her mother was KGB. My jaw hit the floor I was so shocked. From then on I nevr missed an ep but they were always messing with schduele so I bought the DVD's and just one watched one right after the other. I've been hooked ever since.
