Title: Chronicle
Description: a round-robin story
Celtic Jedi - September 14, 2003 01:10 AM (GMT)
Okay the title might be kind of odd, but I had to think of something. I thought it was appropriate seeing as this story is being passed around. This is a round-robin for everyone to add to. Here the first chapter:
*disclaimer: I don't own alias, nor does anyone else here.
* * * *
The room was bare. The gray concrete only seemed to be closing in as time passed. The single light bulb hanging from the ceiling flickered as if it would burn out momentarily.
The woman sat motionless, restrained to the chair. Her outfit could have been described as trendy, if it had not been torn in a fight. Sydney shook her head in an attempt to stay awake. Whatever they had drugged her with had not worn off yet. She barely heard the door open.
"Well, Miss Bristow, have you had enough time to consider my offer?" Sark smiled as he entered. He pulled the other chair from the wall and sat down in front of her, meeting her defiant gaze.
Sydney remained silent, but pulled against her restraints. She wanted to leap from the chair and strangle him. She would have.
"Not enough time, Love?" He questioned and stood. "Maybe a night in the dark will help your thoughts." With that he went to the door and slammed it behind him.
Sydney kept pulling on the restraints, but it proved useless. Apparently, Sark had taken every caution possible to keep her from escaping. Everything she had been carrying had been taken. And not only was she handcuffed to the chair, but also tied with rope and duct-taped.
She wracked her brain for any escape scenarios.
Then the light went out and she was left in darkness.
* * * *
I started it. Some one can pick up with the story. I think to avoid possible confusion please say if you are going to write the next part.
LightTraveller - September 14, 2003 05:36 PM (GMT)

Chapter 2
Brenda Wood
This is short but hopefully a worthy addition
discalimer- I don't own these cahracters or anyhting alias just writing a fan fic
JJ Abrams season 3 is just 2 weeks away YEAY!!!
--------------------------------------------------------
Vaughn was upset. Sydney had disappeared on him and he just knew that Sark had her.
Damn it - she had to be close by but where? And what was happening to her?
He sighed- as the other team members came running up to meet him
Dixon and Jack were among them. One look at Vaughn and they were both pretty sure what had happened.
Dixon tried to reassure them that Sydney woudl be all right and they would find her soon.
Jack didn't answer but he hoped to hell she was OK. This life his daugher lead. it made him sick with worry. She wasn't a cat with nine lives she was a human being with one- and she had had several miracles already. Was this the time her luck ran out??
The small team of agents made quick tracks back to the safehouse so they could evaluate the situation and wait to hear from Sark or from Sydney - at the very least they could begin to plan an attack of their own.
-----
back in the dark...
Sydney waited and let her eyes adjust. Able to pick out small shadows of Nothing!!
she pulled at her restriants and was rewarded with Nothing!
"Oh boy " she thought. " This is not good "
I am going to have to negotiate with Sark and I don't want to do that
Her cuts and brusies from the fight were painful and after a few years of this business and countless times as a hostage she wondered if maybe she should give up? She shook her head. No way could she do that - it betrayed her, it would kill vaughn and she was pretty sure her father would be hurt by her death.
OK Bristow- negotiate something
"SARK" she yelled- get back in here "I am ready to talk to you"
as she heard him unlock the door she wondered whatt exactly he wanted and how she could pretend to give it to him.
OK who is taking Chapter 3

as I said three days, here you go
Chapter 3
“Did you change your mind miss bristow?” Sark said, as he began approaching Sydney.
The light flickered on and she could make out the man in front of her with a devilish grin on his face.
“What is it you want from me exactly?” Sydney asked as he took a seat in the other chair.
“The C.I.A. has some information I need, you…are one of my ways of getting it”.
“What makes you think I’ll do anything for you?” Laughter filled the small area. Sark stood up and began pacing round. He noticed Sydney eyeing him carefully then decided to answer.
“Because I, my dear, unlike all of your other capturers, am not afraid to kill you if you decide not to agree with my terms”. Sark stopped pacing, crossed his arms and waited for an answer, there was none.
“Well, what’s it going to be?” He asked, angry.
In her most confident tone: “I’ll think about it”.
“Time is running out miss Bristow, and I will not hesitate to take action”. With that Sark left the room.
Shit. She though. Now how the hell am I going to get out of here? She knew Sark was right; he probably would kill her if she didn’t go along with his plan.
-----
Back at the safe house in Galati, Romania, four unknown men sneaked up to the front of the house and two to the back door.
Inside the house, Vaughn, Jack, Dixon and Marshall were eating dinner.
When suddenly the six men surrounding the house burst in and within seconds had the four C.I.A. agents at gunpoint.
“Uh, okay, hi, would you like to join us for dinner or something?” Marshall asked, terrified.
While Jack, Dixon and Vaughn had the same terrified look on their face. Eating was definitely not an option now.
------
so what you think? who's next?
Celtic Jedi - September 22, 2003 01:58 AM (GMT)
great job, LightTraveller :D :D It's funny how you threw Marshall in
Aliasmaster47 - September 22, 2003 09:12 PM (GMT)
Hours past and Sydney finally made uo her mind.
"Sark, I'll talk." she yelled into the camara.
He stepped through the door followed by... Sydney's mother!!
What the h*ll was she doing here.
"Glad to see you too" Irina said sarcastly to Sydney.
Sydney stayed quiet. She thought it best to let her mother tell her what exactly she wanted. "Now, she can be reasonable Mr. Sark" Irina said coldly.
"Luckly not as stubborn as her mother." he replied.
Irina didn't like the way Sark's reply so she quickly changed the subject.
"Sydney, i would like to know how many Rambaldi manuscripts the CIA and SD-6 have in their possetion" Irina said.
"And how would I know that?" she replied.
"You may not now but you will find out for us. And not only do I want to know how many they have but I would also like to know where the keep them."
"And you can go to he*l before I tell you!" Sydney screamed at her mother.
"We'll see. Mr. Sark please go and fetch Dr. Petrenko." Irina ordered in the strongest russian acent.
"I thought we agreed to kill her if she didn't tell." he complained.
"I think once Sydney feels what we can do to her she will be most happy to help us."
Sark leaves the room.
"Dr. Petrenko has come up with a new drug that when injected into a patient causes any touch senced by the nervous system to feel like the worst sort of pain" Irina said once Sark had left the room. "Do we need to see how well his new creation works?"

no. It's cool. Evil Irina :D the point to a round robin is that you never quite know where the plot is headed.
LightTraveller - September 25, 2003 09:46 PM (GMT)
no don't delete it's really good, so who's next i always get confused with this, lol.
Aliasmaster47 - September 27, 2003 11:24 PM (GMT)

this by the way is alot of fun
___________________________________-
"Mother- do you really think you could do that to me? You are always saying that you love me and I think you still love dad-- so do what you have to do.
I will not give up any secrets not under threat of torture- so do what you must
I might scream I might die- but I won't cave in to your demands"
With that Sydney Bristow was silent and she mentally began preparing herself for the pain she was sure would follow.
Irina smiled widely at her daughter, "Sydney you are right I cannot inject you with this now- but rest assured I have something else in mind- becuase my darling I always get what I want" With that Irina left the room plunging Sydney back into total darkness. Sydney began to worry that Vaughn Jack and Dixon might be part of Derevko's plan- and she felt more uneasy about that then she did about anything her mother could do to her...
Meanwhile the guards were busy capturing and loading the CIA captives into their large cargo van- Marshall was terrified and looked as if he would happily vomit his dinner all over jack who was seated next to him. Jack had other worries however.
he suspected that Irina had Sydney and he knew that his daughter would not give in to either Sark or Irina's demands. Unless of course she found out that he or Vaughn were in peril. Then not only would she not betray her country- she would jeaopardize herself in order to save everyone. That was Sydney's weakness- he thought grimly- she loved with all of her heart and if you were on her love list- she would protect you at any cost. Sydney tended to forget that she was loved - and without her many lives would be quite empty. Jack glanced at Vaughn and could imagine the same scenario playing out in that young mans mind.
Vaughn caught Jacks gaze and they both communicated the same fear with their eyes. It was a simple game really- who would sacrifice what to save whom?
---- Sark was anxious- he wanted to use petrenko's serum on Sydney and Irina had foiled that plan. Sulking, he sat at the table and sipped from his glass of wine. The ring of his cellphone interrupted his drink- but it was worht it when he heard the news- the captives had arrived on the premises. Gleefully he went to inform Irina.
perhaps this night could be salvaged after all.

OK we are ready for someone else to grab a chapter and take us off in new direction

Wait, wait! I know it's been a long time (almost 2 weeks)
I've been following the story which is difficult as you all have different styles, but I will contribute. I've been working on a new serial plus the columns and doing stuff for my creative writing class.
Thanks for thinking of me...will try to think about an additional chapter and post before the next Alias. (no pressure, no pressure...oh God when will I do this?)

CHAPTER 6
Sark finds Irina sitting at her desktop. When she sees him approach, she taps a few keys, shutting it down so he cannot see what she had been doing. However, he doesn’t really care as he is about to tell her about Jack and the other CIA agents.
“Irina, the team caught four CIA operatives in Romania. They were just brought here. I think you’ll want to – ummm – interview one of them, especially since it’s Jack!”
She stared at him, her heart beating hard and fast. Jack! She maintained her composure. “Who else?”
“Marshall Flinkman, he’s their op tech guy in L. A.; Marcus Dixon, who was formerly Sydney’s partner and Michael Vaughn. He’s the man Sydney’s in love with.”
She smiled. “Then I suggest we start with him. I’m sure Sydney doesn’t want him to suffer the tortures of Petrenko’s serum. Take him to the interview room and bring Sydney to me.”
Sark nodded and left her. Irina sat quietly her mind not on the business at hand, but on someone else close by. A tear escaped and rolled down her right cheek, then she smiled. The door opened behind her and two guards came in with Sydney, who was handcuffed and shackled. Sark wasn’t taking any chances with her. She had foiled many captors before this in many ways.
“Take those off her,” ordered Irina. The guards were surprised, but did as they were told. “Just wait outside. She won’t be going anywhere.”
Moments later, they were alone together. They looked at each other and Sydney winked. “Mom!” She said softly. “What’s next?”
“Vaughn and your father have been captured by Sark’s operatives. We have to proceed cautiously. Here’s what you must do if they are to be extricated.”
The four CIA men were taken to a single cell. It was a little cramped, until two guards came and pulled Vaughn out. The three others watched him go not without a little fear. They were aware of Sark’s penchant for rough treatment. Vaughn could be in real trouble. Jack looked at Dixon who looked at Marshall, who looked at Jack. Then Jack and Dixon looked at Marshall.
“What?” Marshall didn’t understand.
“We know all about you,” they both said to him. “We know about your extra curricular activity on behalf of…”
“Oh God, I knew it,” he interrupted them before they could finish. “I was forced to do it. They threatened Carrie.”
“Is there any way you can give false information to…”
Again Marshall interrupted them, “Yes and I’ll do it.”
Two guards appeared at the cell door. They opened the door and yanked Jack outside. They handcuffed his wrists behind his back and marched him off out of sight. Dixon and Marshall wondered if they would see either man again.
Jack’s handcuff’s were removed. One guard knocked at the door and then opened it and pushed him inside. The lights were off. He stood silently watching, waiting for the one person he was sure was here. He sensed she was very close.
“Hello, Darling!” Irina moved into him. He took her face between his two hands and kissed her passionately. She responded without hesitation. They stood a full minute enjoying the touch and feel of each other’s body. Finally Irina broke away, saying “come with me.” Before they moved, she reached behind him and pushed a button on the door. He heard a double click. “No one will disturb us.”
She felt his right arm go around her slim waist. He knew by the feel through her robe that she was naked. Jack whispered, “I take it you got my message?” He nuzzled her neck.
“Of course. Sydney’s all right. She’s handling Sark now.” She turned into him. Although it was nighttime, there was enough moonlight spilling into the room so she could see him. God, she loved him so much.
“And how about your band of merry little band of spies,” Jack let his hands wander over her body, anticipating the rest of the night. “What are they up too?”
Irina laughed, “They are being used wisely.”
“Which one is running the op for this adventure?”
“I put Gil in charge. Bailey is has a problem with vodka and can’t be trusted to follow orders correctly. Tammy, Janet and Irish are okay with him in charge. Once Bailey straightens up, we’ll see.” She drew him over to the bed which now was bathed in total moonlight. “However, right now, I need you to be both lover and husband.”
“Happy to oblige.” He kissed her, taking off her robe, letting it drop to the floor.

Aha, my little band of Chroniclers...You now have three plots going simultaneously.
1. Sydney and Irina are working on something against Sark. How will Sydney convince Sark she is cooperating, thereby saving Vaughn from torture with Petrenko's serum?
2. Who is Marshall working for on the side and doing what?
3. Then there is Irina's merry little band of spies. Who are they really? (I mean can you figure who they are in the world of Alias?) What has she got them doing?
4. Don't worry about Jack and Irina's night together...I'll take care of that later.
Good luck. B)

Vaughn had been brought into the same interrogation room Sydney had been in. The guards had strapped him to the table and left. It was about five minutes later when Sark entered the room.
"Mr. Vaughn, I am pleased to inform you that I have Sydney in my custody." Sark said with arrogance in his voice.
"You're bluffing" Vaughn spat.
"Believe what you like, but I would consider that she could be dying in the next room. Only you can stop that" Sark replied.
"You wouldn't hurt her." Vaughn said.
"You obviously don't know me very well. I will do what ever it takes to get what I want. And that includes torturing both of you in ways that you cannot imagine." Sark paused. "I have an expert chemist working with me. He has developed a new drug that causes immense pain from the lightest touch. Your friend ms. Bristow has already been injected but is being rather stubborn. Tell me what I want to know and you can end her suffering."
"I won't tell you anything." Vaughn told Sark.
"Then you will receive the same treatment as Agent Bristow.”
With that Sark walked out the door.
lenafan - October 19, 2003 01:49 AM (GMT)
OK so Aliasmaster47 has put Vaughn in a room where he will be tortured :reallyexcited: with the torture serum supposedly already administered to Sydney who is in cahoots with Mom against Sark, but Mom is with Jack right now loving' every minute of it. Hey what about Marshall; who is he in cahoots with and why?

Chapter 8
Being poked with a syringe in your arm wasn’t exactly the way Vaughn expected to wake up, but today that was the case.
“aaah, what the hell do you think you’re doing?” Vaughn screamed at the person standing beside him, who appeared to be a doctor. Dr.Janet Mokrov is what the name teague on her lab coat read.
“This is a special liquid that will counteract the effects of the petrenko Serum” the doctor answered him in a thick Russian accent.
“I work for Irina Derevko, she ordered me to do this”.
“Why?”.
“I’m not sure, but I do know she is working against Sark for now, who will be visiting you shortly if Sydney doesn’t find you” Dr.Mokrov finished.
“Sydney’s free?” Vaughn asked.
“She should be, take care Mr. Vaughn”. And with that the woman left.
Soon after, Sark entered with a beyond devilish smile on his face.
---
“So what your saying is that if you don’t go to a private bathroom soon, you’ll suffer from some sort of allergic reaction and puke continuously?” the guard asked, still disbelieving Marshall’s excuse for getting out of the cell.
“Yeah, uh-huh, now can you let me go, or would you like to mop this floor?” Marshall responded.
The guard slowly let him out, and guided him down the hall out of Dixon’s view. Dixon made quick work of the lock on the gate and began running down the hall in the opposite direction Marshall went in.
---
Sydney was running down the hall when she suddenly saw Dixon turn the corner.
“Dixon” she yelled.
“Syd” he said and stopped running.
“How did you get out” Sydney asked. Just then a gunshot echoed through the halls, followed by a loud thud, then silence.
“That way” Dixon pointed, and both ran down a hallway.
---------------
didn't have time for editing so don't complain, lol.
-The Doctor, Janet, is by the way part of Irina's merry little band of spies as some like to put it.
