Summary:
Sydney Bristow couldn't be happier when the man of her dreams asks her to move in with her. Exstatic, she envisions she and Vaughn living happily ever after...that is, until she meets his roommate!!
(Enter Vaughn's dog, Donavan.) Sure, he seems all cute and cuddly...but, the second Vaughn is away, all hell breaks loose!! Sydney and Donavan then wage a war against each other!! A war that could end in complete distruction and total chaos!!
Who will win this war?? Will it be Sydney? The super spy trained by the C.I.A. Or will it be Donavan? Vaughn's dog!!

When Syd slowly awoke to the sound of a snoring Vaughn, a small smile played across her lips. She couldn't believe that she was now living with the man of her dreams.

She lazily stretched her arms above her head and slowly opened her eyes. But who she saw snoring next to her was not Vaughn!! She couldn't believe her eyes. It was Dovavan!

He was sleeping in the bed right next to her. His little body under the covers, and his head peacefully resting on HER pillow!!

Syd just shut her eyes and let out a loud sigh.

A/N:I don't have much right now, but I am writing as I go. So, please be patient with my small chapters.

This starts off kinda slow, but ::rubs hands together and gives an evil grin:: I promise it will pick up soon!! The little wheels in my head are just a turnin'!! LOL. Oh, how they are turning!!

Chapter One: "Can't Hardly Wait"

Sydney could hardly take it anymore. She was filled with so much excitement, she could hardly stand it! She was going to see Vaughn soon.

Sydney stood, waiting impatiently next to the airport terminal she knew Vaughn would be heading through at any moment.

She had missed him so much while he was gone. Vaughn had left three weeks ago to visit his family in France. He had asked Sydney to come with him, and boy she wanted to. But that boob Kendell simply wouldn't have it.
So Vaughn left, and Sydney stayed.

The last three weeks had been complete torture for her. You could literally beat her up, pull her teeth out one-by-one, rip her hair out, and any other physical pain you could possibly think of, but nothing even closely compared to the pain she felt when she wasn't with Vaughn.

So she stood there, waiting in both agony, and anticipation. Waiting for 'Her Man' to come running up to greet her.

As if on cue, Michael Vaughn came walking through the terminal. Sydney's breath caught in her throat.

*Oh my!* Syd thought to herself. Her already gorgeous Vaughn, seemed even hotter...if that was even possible!

*My, my! Vaughn must have spent some time in the sun during his stay in France* Sydney mused to herself.

Vaughn now had a light tan, which made his green eyes stand out even more, and the tips of his hair seemed to have been slightly bleached out by the sun. Sydney had to do everything she could to keep herself from drooling and falling to the floor.

When Vaughn finally spotted Sydney, he immediately gave her one of those knee-weakening, killer smiles of his. He came rushing over to her and put his arms around her waist, and pulled her into a deep, passionate kiss.

"I missed you," Syd finally said.
"I missed you too," repeated Vaughn while staring deeply into her eyes.
"Syd?"
"Hmm?"
"Why don't you...um...I mean, why don't we...I mean...um..."
Syd had no idea what he was trying to say to her. When he started to ramble in a 'Marshall-like-manner' Sydney couldn't help but laugh.

What was he trying to ask her, she wondered. Finally, she couldn't take it any more.
"Vaughn!?" She giggled slightly while giving him a look of both bewildermind and amusement.

Vaughn quickly gave himself a 'mental shake.'
"Nothing, um, lets go ho....I mean, lets get outta here." Vaughn had caught himself just in time. What was he thinking!?

During his stay in France, all he could thik about was asking Syd to move in with him. But he realized that the airport was not the place to ask her such an important question. No, a proposal like this was going to take some planning, he thought to himself.

"Okay, lets go," Syd said, bringing Vaughn out of his thoughts.
"Okay," he replied.

Michael grabbed his luggage from the conveyor belt, then he and Syd left the airport, hand in hand.

Ch. Two "Almost Perfect"

Sydney gave herself one last glance in the mirrow to make sure she looked perfect for tonight.

She was waiting for Vaughn again. He had called her earlier that day saying he had somethig special planned for her tonight, and that he would pick her up at 8 o'clock sharp. It was already 7:53!!

After 3 hours of debating on what to wear...(which made her laugh at herself...She and Vaughn had long since gotten over the stage in their relationship where they felt like they had to impress each other)...but still, she couldn't help herself. She wanted to look perfect for him.

Finally, she had decided on a soft-lilac dress covered in lace that hung perfectly on her body. With it, she wore her 4 inch open-toed strappy sandals that allowed her to come up to eye-level with Vaughn. She put on only the slightest bit of make-up. Just enough to accent her features...Vaughn had once told her that she was the most naturally beautiful woman he had ever seen (this was one day when she had just woken up). Ever since then, Sydney has felt completely comfortabe with herself, because she knew that Vaughn loved her just as she was ...(which was great because she hated make-up!! ) Her hair was twisted up into a loose and messy up-do.

Pleased with the final result, Sydney went and sat on the couch and just stared at the clock in fron of her...7:59...she was starting to fidget when all of a sudden *Knock Knock Knock!!...it was exactly 8:00pm. Sydney smiled to herself at having such a punctual boyfriend.

She then jumped from the couch and made a mad dash for the door...forgetting she was in 4 inch heels, she stumbled and nearly took out the lamp that was next to the couch.

Regaining her composure (and mentally kicking herself) she opened the door.

There he was in a nice shirt and pants. He hated wearing suits outside of the C.I.A., and Sydney couldn't blame him.

"Wow! You look amazing!" Vaughn said with his killer smile and then handed her a bouquet of a dozen long stemed red roses.

*God she loved him!*

"Thank you," she smiled in return and took the roses to put them in a vase.

"Ready to go?" he asked

"Of corse," she replied, and they walked to Vaughn's car.

"So where are we going anyways?" Sydney couldn't help but ask.

"You'll see," he said with a crooked smile.

20 minutes later they pulled up to "Chez Pierre's" a small, but romantic French restaurant that was right next to the pier.

Vaughn went around the car to open Syd's door. She then looped her arm around his and they went inside.

~An Hour Later~

Syd and Vaughn were now walking down the pier. Syd stopped to stare up at the stars.

It was a perfect night...Almost.


A/N: LMAO!! Okay, First of all, I have never been to California, so I don't know what kind of restaurants they have there.
Secondly, I am sorry about about their "dinner." LMAO!! The reason I just skipped over it was b/c what happened during dinner was not important...what comes next, however, is!! So just pretend that is was very sweet and romantic!!

Ch. Three "The 'Proposal'"

While Syd stood staring up at the stars, she noticed out of the corner of her eye that Vaughn started to kneel.

*Oh my God! What is he doing!?!?! He's not proposing is he!? I love him, but I'm not ready for marriage!!...am I?? I mean, we've only been dating for seven months, shouldn't we at least wait a year?!?! (Of corse she wanted to marry him, now just wasn't the time.) Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!!*

Syd started to panic, and her mind started to spin.

"Syd?"

Sydney just stood there in shock, now staring at Vaughn down on one knee.

"Syd," Vaughn tried again. This time he reached up and took Sydney by the hand.

"Would you do me the honor..."(he paused, trying not to laugh at the terrified look on Sydney's face)..."of moving in with me?" he finished with a slight smirk on his face.

"Vaughn, I just don't think that now's the...."(it was now Sydney's turn to pause. Slowly, the realization of what he had just asked her started to sink in.)

"Wait! Did you just ask me to MOVE IN with you!?!?!"

Vaughn, trying very hard to keep a straight face, answered, "That's what I said."

Sydney just started laughing at herself then quickly answered Vaughn's question.

"Yes!! Yes, of corse I'll...Move In...with you!!" she said between laughs.

Vaughn, now pretending to be hurt, "Hey!! What's so funny?!?!"

"I'm sorry Vaughn. It's just that...when I saw you down on your knee...I...I just thought..." Sydney was now too embarrassed to finish the sentence.

"You thought what? That I was going to, oh I don't know, propose MARRIAGE?" Vaughn said all of this with a grin and a slight chuckle.

Sydney then realized something.

*Gasp* "You did that on purpose, didn't you!!!" She then started to playfully punching and kicking him.

Vaughn couldn't contain his laughter any longer. "Scared you, didn't I?"

"You jurk!!" Syd laughed while continuing to playfully beat him up.

Vaughn, in self defense, then grabbed her arms and pulled her into a kiss.


A/N: LOL. The ONLY reason I am not having them get married is b/c I would get so carried away with their wedding that I would probably never get to the Donavan part.

Sydney goes to bed that night, utterly estatic! "Oh I can't believe it! MY dreams have come true! I"ll be living with the most wonderful strong man in the world!" With so many butterflies in her stomach she could not sleep a wink, but daydream all night. When morning came, she was not tired at all!

That morning, she immediately went to her local box store since they would come in handy now! As she was picking out boxes, she wondered "How am I going to tell my roommates? They are like sisters to me! But i know they will be happy for me!" She figured that evening would be the perfect time to break the great news to them when everyone will be home and relaxing.

That evening, they were all home and Sydney took a deep breath and decided it was the time. "Francie, Nelda, I have great but sad news." "What is it Syd? You know we'll understand no matter what!" said Francie. "Yeah, she's right! spill the beans Sydney, we're ready!" reinforced Nelda. Syndney took another deep breath, "Alright guys, here it goes. You guys are the best, I seriously don't know where i'd be without you. You are the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I just want you guys to know right now how much i love you both."

Francie and Nelda were filled with even more suspence than ever. "We love you too, Syd, now spit it out already!" insisted Nelda. "Alright, Alright," continued Sydney with a wry little smile, inwardly laughing at her impatient friends, "Vaugn has asked me to move in with him! I"m so excited! I couldn't beleive it!" "Oh man! That's great news!" said Francie. "Yeah, that's awesome! We are so happy for you! woo hoo!"

Then it hit them. Francie and Nelda looked at each other and realized that from now on things would be different. Syd wouldn't be joining them on their midnight snack escapades nor their freak out forums. It would all take some getting used to, for everyone (especially little dogs!!!).

"Oh man, we're gonna miss you so much! We've grown so close" said Francie with a hint of sadness in her voice. "This is so great yet so sad...it feels like we all just moved in together!" chimed in Nelda. "Oh, guys, don't worry, i will still visit you guys very often! I could never just forget such essentail friends as you both. Where would i be without you guys?" "I know!" agrees Nelda as she looks Francie, "She'd be a lost dog without us!" Laughter then fills the room, and it feels like old times once more.

"So, when do you move in?" asked Francie. "In two days!" answered syd. "Wow girl, that's close! we better help you pack, that's such a job!" said Nelda. "Aw, thanks you guys! You don't know how much i appreciate this!" said Syd so touched at how understanding her friends truly were. "Hey, we should all go out for dinner tonight and celebrate!" said Francie. "Yeah! and it's all on me!" stated Nelda. "Oh, you guys are the best!" said Sydney with tears in her eyes, as they all went off to help Sydney pack.

Donnie makes his first appearance in the next chapter! ;)
