Walking down from the grounds, she approached a willow tree, commonly visited by most students. The tree, sitting just before the lake, provided both shade and solitude. Brittany walked beneath the tree, humming to herself. She sat down beneath the tree, watching the ripples on the lake move with the blowing of the wind. She took her wand out.

"Expecto Patronum..."

Her patronus, a panda cub, rolled around her. She watched it, amused. Sighing, she grabbed a willow strand and began picking at it.

A giant spectral white tiger strode over and started playing with brittany's panda. It nuzzled it's head against the panda, a very cute display. Shawn stepped out from behind the Willow Tree, leaning against the side, just looking on, smiling.

Brittany gasped, an 'O' of surprise forming around her lips. It was an adorable sight. She put her hand up to he mouth and laughed, obviously overjoyed. Glancing up, recognizing the Patronus, she smiled, scooting over.

"Hey Shawn... what brings you down here?"

Shawn chuckled, as he walked over and sat down next to her. "Well if you must know.." Shawn started, rolling his eyes jokingly, "I'm just taking a walk. And i happened to just see you and your panda thing sitting down, and I decided to try and surprise you." He added, smiling "So what're you doing out here?"

She rolled her eyes.

"It's not a panda thing- it's the most adorable thing to ever exist. See, watch..."

She conjured the Panda once more. It rolled out from her wand and plopped into his lap, looking up expectantly, cuddling into him. She shook her head, unable to deal with the cuteness. She sighed, the panda disappearing.

"I'm just getting away, you know? This is about the most solitary place on the Grounds... at least, it used to be."

She laughed and bumped her shoulder into his.

"Patronus' aren't sposed to be cute.." He said, rolling his eyes jokingly. He started to get up, saying "oh so should I leave?" Shawn said, jokingly.

She shook her head, grabbing his arm and pulling him back down. She did not remove her arm.

"No- please stay. I could use the company. I'm still a little buzzed from earlier... I visited the Hog's Head before I came here."

She laughed.

"Hah, you visited the Hog's Head after I played. Wow, thanks.." Shawn said, jokingly, sitting down. He put his arm around Britts shoulders. "So what're you doing drinking?" he asked, innocently.

She frowned.

"I completely forgot that you were playing today... I'm so sorry, that was not intended. I would have came to see you play, you know I would have."

She sighed, laying her head back so that it was resting in his arm. She felt a sudden rush of blood to her head. She was a little more buzzed than she thought. She looked at him, her eyes swirling to a light blue.

"Why am I drinking? I don't know... no reason in particular. I just thought... 'What the hell, why not...'" she laughed, shrugging nonchalantly.

"You ever have one of those days? Where you just don't care what happens? You just let everything fly the way they want to? I'm having one of those days..."

"Well I'm gonna be playing again soon, next week maybe..." Shawn said with a smile. He laughed, knowing she was buzzed. When she finished her sentence, he said, "Well of course, I've had many of those days... They're kind've like the best, you know" He chuckled to himself, smiling.

She smiled, nodding her head.

"I'll be there, don't worry. I'm sorry for missing it this week- I know how excited you were about it. You were always good at music, you don't need my approval though. You know what you're doing."

She sighed, laying further back into the crook of his arm. This was comfortable, she could fall asleep like this.

"I miss you- and I'm sorry that I didn't go with you..." she blurted out, before she could stop herself. What the hell, might as well say it now.

"Don't worry about the show, You've seen me wail away on a guitar alot anyway.." Shawn said jokingly, smiling. He looked at her as she rested her head in the crook of his arm. It felt like deja vu. It was just old feelings, he guessed, but then she told him she missed him. I miss you too, Britt.. he thought, just looking at her. He had wanted her to say that, but he just never really thought that it could actually happen. He smiled, and gave her a half hug with the arm she rested on, pulling her closer to him.

Smiling, nuzzling her face into his shirt, she sniffed, sighing happily. He always had a nice aroma to him- a natural one. She closed her eyes and leaned her face up slightly, taking the side of his into her hand gently. She guided his face to hers and kissed him lightly on the lips. Pulling away slowly, her eyes still closed.

She bit her lip, worried what his reaction would have been.

Shawn acted on just impulse. He leaned in as her lips left his, and kiss her, passionately. There was nothing stopping him, not a thought in his mind wanted anything other than this right now, so he just acted on a whim, and this is where it led him, leaning into the kiss. He smiled against her lips.

OOC- HAHAHAHA [still]

Leaning in even further, once she sensed no hesitation from him, she traced her fingers through his hair, slowly getting on her knees, pushing him back slightly. She ran her fingers from his hair, and traced them lightly to his ears, tracing them, then down his neck- and across his collar bone, opening her mouth slightly as she did so to allow his tongue to pass through her lips.

Shawn was now laying down, as he kissed her passionately, their tongues 'dancing' passionately. He ran his fingers through her hair, twirling her hair through his fingers. He then ran his hand down her back, pulling her closer to him, kissing her with raw emotion. He flipped her around with a grunt, and now he was ontop, leaning on his right arm as he kissed her, running his free hand through her hair, moving down to her collar bone, and tracing around her chest, down her ribs and resting them on her waist, leaning in even more.

Moaning slightly, mainly in surprise, she continued to kiss him wildly. She felt more alive now than she had in years, it seemed like. She scratched his back gently, pushing him closer to her, allowing no space to come between their bodies. She allowed her lips to leave his, and she began kissing his neck lightly, kissing his collar bones.

She gasped, suddenly and place a hand on his chest, pushing him away slightly.

"Shawn- wait. We can't do this- can we? Is this right?" she asked, worried. She didn't want to lose him as a friend, they had just started talking to each other again. She was breathing hard from the arousal, her blue eyes widening.

Shawn looked at her, sighing. He cracked his neck, and slumped over to the side. "Is it not right? Why shouldn't we do this?" He asked, calmly, a half frown, half smile appeared on his face as he looked at Brittany. He was doing all he could just to not pounce on her and take her there, right where she lay.

She shook her head, taking a strand of hair and putting it behind her ear. In her heart, she wanted him- it was her mind that was doing all the work now.

"It feels right- I've never been happier with anyone else, but... I just don't want this to ruin us, Shawn. I don't want you to stop being my friend because you're afraid to commit again. I'm not asking for a commitment."

She gave him a serious look. I just need you... she thought, though she didn't know how to explain that without feeling dirty.

(SLUT!!!)

Shawn leaned against the tree, and put his feet underneath him. "Then what do you want? Last week you flip out on me, then you kiss me then tell me you don't want to? You're confusing the shit out've me Britt. Make up your mind..." He said, leaning his head against the trunk of the tree. He ran a hand through his long blond hair, and let out a long, soft sigh.

OOC- I'll kill you. hahahaha.

She bit her lip, staring at him as the sun hit his hair just right, illuminating him- or so it seemed. She sighed, and with that, she lunged and began kissing him once more. Inbetween kissing, she spoke.

"I'm-sorry for- flipping out on you- it's just when I see you- with other girls- I want to rip their faces off. I can't help how I feel about you Shawn, and I never will be able to."

Shawn broke the kiss for a second, taking in what Brittany said. "You can't help it? But do you want it? Are you sure you want this.." He leaned back and sighed. Alot of things were running through his mind, what was he supposed to do? She had been drinking, and he didn't know if she really wanted him. What was there to think on at this point? He just wanted his guitar, a pen, and a piece of paper.

She breathed quietly, leaning back. She looked him dead in the eye, taking his hand in hers, the other hand touching the side of his face lightly.

"Shawn- I want this. This is me. You know me. If I really felt like something was wrong, you know I would have ended it by now. I'm tired of trying to stay away from you- I'm too weak for it."

She smiled.

"You have to promise me now, that if I have to leave again, you either stay here or come back with me. I cannot always protect you if I go back, but here you are safe. You need to make a decision on the spot.." Shawn said, staring into Brittany's eyes. Really he was try as hard as he could not to just jump her, really.

She scanned her eyes across his face, shaking with emotion. She nodded, running her hand from the side of her face through his hair once more, appreciating him fully at this moment.

"I will follow you anywhere, Shawn... I don't know what I was thinking before- I don't."

(You will come know me as God now... :P)

Shawn looked at Brittany, and smiled. He kissed her lightly on the lips, and throwing his arm around her, pulling her close to him. "Good, because I won't be able to come back if you stay..." He muttered, under his breath, kissing the top of her head lightly.

Is this a good idea? The words just popped in his head. Was this a good idea? What if she got hurt? She had no idea what was after him, no idea how much danger he put her in. She couldn't know, this was something far more deadlier than anything she has ever seen before, anything he has ever fought before...

[Whatever you say, hahaha]

She sighed happily, her eyes looking up to the sky. She turned around to face him, scooting into his lap slightly. She frowned, seeing a thoughtful expression appear on his face. She turned her head slightly and took his hand.

"I know what you're thinking... I know you probably think that this might be a bad idea and that I'm being naive... but I'm not. I'm willing to follow you wherever you go, and if what you say is true? About you not being able to return if I didn't come with you? Well... I don't think I could ever handle that... I'd shut down."

She looked up to him, smiling slightly. She brought her legs up, somewhat into a ball shape. She frowned for a moment. Oh jeez, what the hell am I going to tell Paul? Poor guy... She sighed, shaking her head. She looked up to Shawn, wondering if she should ask him for advice. She had never really moved on from him- she just agreed to date him on a whim, thinking that Shawn would never have an interest in her again (especially after her drunken rant).

(What is this, fuckin' New Moon??? Hehehe)

"You have to promise me another thing though.." Shawn began, running his hand through her hair, pulling a loose strand behind her ear. "If anything, and I mean anything bad begins to happen, and I tell you to get as far away as you can; You do it.." He continued, trying to cover his bases.

There really wasn't much he could do to protect her if the worst happened. And from recent events, hanging around Shawn wasn't the best idea to have. It was getting dangerous around him. "Just get out before there's absolutely no chance.." He muttered, kissing the top of her head, and pulling her closer to him, draping his arms around her, closing his eyes.

[WTF- I just realized the similarity... Paul = Jacob. hahahah]

Frowning as he pulled her to him, she pulled back for a moment. She stared at him for a moment, detecting fear in his eyes. She'd tell Paul later, right now she'd focus on the issue at hand.

"What exactly are you so afraid of, Shawn? What do you think is going to happen? Do you know something that I don't?"

[you = human = Bella. Shawn = non-human = Edward. Paul... he can be Jacob, but he's not a werewolf... hahahaha]

Shawn shook his head, and answered quickly. "You didn't promise me.." He wasn't going to say anything else, so he just leaned his head against the tree and closed his eyes, awaiting her promise. All he wanted to do was to keep her safe. That's all. Nothing too hard to accomplish, right? But then again being around him was always a dangerous thing, you never know what could jump out when you were with Shawn Black. He was literally a magnet for danger. He could take care of himself, but sometimes he couldn't save everyone.

"Just promise me.." He muttered under his breath.

[Yeah, but it's the same situation- when Edward left, she 'settled' with Jacob, and although Jacob was a great guy, he was still no Edward. Get it? hahaha]

She frowned, not liking this sudden side of Shawn. Granted, he was most likely worried, but he had always been able to to trust her with information. She had never leaked anything, and she would die for him- no questions asked. Why was he choosing not to tell her? If there was an iminent attack that he was aware of, he would tell her, right? She wasn't sure.

"The answer is yes, I promise you- but I want to know what's going on! I deserve to know what's going on, Shawn. You know me, you know that no matter what challenges await us, I'll never risk something you don't want me to. If you told me to go- I would... it'd kill me, but I would. Please... just tell me what you think is going to happen, that way I can at least prepare!"

She took his face into her hands, her eyes swirling to a peaceful dark blue.

Shawn smiled, briefly. She asked a lot of him. To be honest, he wasn't exactly sure what was going to happen. All he knew, he told her. "Remember the war with Shika?" Shawn asked, staring into her eyes, running a hand through her hair. "Well did you ever wonder where he got that army? How he fell? There's someone pulling the strings against me. A demon lord, I don't know much about him, I'm going through some leads that I've acquired throughout my life. But I do know that his name is Scamea. And if it's a he then he would be one of the deadliest demons there have ever been."

Taking a deep breath in, she chewed over the information that was just given to her. Of course there was a rivaling army, she knew this, but was there a chance of another uprising? Was it that likely? She knew that Shawn had won the initial battle, how did the army grow once more, and so quickly? Whoever this person was, it was bad news. She could read it on his face.

"Thank you for telling me all of this, Shawn. How did you come across all of this information? When you left? You say you've been acquiring it?"

She frowned, thinking about it. She couldn't imagine what it'd be like to be Shawn right now. Knowing that someone was out there, much stronger than you, that wanted to kill you- and having this knowledge and living out his day to day life as if there was nothing wrong. She suddenly felt terrible for all of the bad things she'd ever said to him. She wished that she could take them away. She squeezed his hand tightly.

"Let's just say, that the information is far from complete, and that it took a lot of effort to get that information. A lot more than I'm used to taking. I just followed leads that have randomly appeared since I found out I was part demon. Just random phenomena.." Shawn said, smiling slightly. He threw his arm over Brittany and pulled her closer to him. He kissed her ontop of her head, and then pulled her chin up and kissed her lightly on the lips. "I love you Britt." He muttered, softly, putting his chin on the top of her head, and closing his eyes.

She smiled as he kissed the top of her head, and she looked up to him, running her finger up and down the side of his face. She began tracing her finger along ever crevice and part of his face, memorizing it. This is where she wanted to be forever.

"I love you too, Shawn. I'm behind you on this. I'll leave you when you ask me to, but- just know that I would do anything for you. I'd go anywhere, I'd fight anything. It's not a question, it's a certainty."

She leaned up slightly and kissed him deeply, gripping his hair, moving closer to him yet.

Shawn leaned over, and returned the kiss, deeply. He pulled her close to his chest. He picked her up, and pulled her down onto the grass underneath the tree, kissing her all the while. He ran a hand through her hair, and then tracing her jawline with his fingers. He ran his other hand down her neck, and traced around the curves of her body.

Shivering, she returned his kisses passionately, mimicking his every action, as if it were a mirror image. She pushed against him, forcing him onto his back, all the while rolling on top of him. She pinned his wrists down and began kissing his neck, all around his collar bone, then returning to his lips furiously.

Lizz walked out onto the grounds and decided to visit her favorite spot, the willow tree. She didn't know why but willow trees just seemed to calm her and relax her and she loved them, they were her escape. After a hour of thinking things threw she knew Joey was right, Rob needed to know. "lets see if this works" she said. "rob" she said outloud wondering if calling him, like she had been told to, would really work.

a couple minutes went by and then rob had orbed down next to her. you called? he asked with a smile before kissing her cheek lightly.

Lizz laughed "I honestly did not believe that would work" she said smiling an kissing his cheek back. "yes in fact I did call.........." she said softly looking dow for a second before looking back at him "..we need to talk". She hated telling people bad news it allways sucked and she never knew how to start, another reason she liked working without partners.
