Title: The Astronomy Tower
Description: The highest point in the castle.

Sirius_Black - March 31, 2009 10:46 PM (GMT)
Up high in the astronomy tower, is a place for star gazing and admiration for the clear, blue skies. This is the highest point in in the castle, and the roof is pretty open, so do becareful not to fall off.

Oliversgurl01 - March 31, 2009 10:48 PM (GMT)
Lizz walked up to the atstonomy tower, she wore a necklace on a chain. The pendant was of the Black family crest, her family. She was the only one left, and well kinda got lonesome in that respect so she traveled up here to gaze at the stars thinking about her family and wishing to be with them. But is shereally the only one elft?

Sirius_Black - March 31, 2009 10:54 PM (GMT)
"How are you doing tonight, my newly appointed Defense Professor?"

Headmaster Black came out of the shadows, giving Lizz a small smile, as he walked over to the edge, leaning on the balcony. He looked up a the clear blue night with a hopeful look in his eyes. He hadn't been up here in a good while, and wanted check out the view once more.

"I hope you'll be ready when term starts. The first years can be quite a handfull."

Oliversgurl01 - March 31, 2009 10:56 PM (GMT)
Lizz turned and smiled at him, "i'm good. And I should be ready, little bit nervouse but otherwise I'm pretty sure i got a handle on it" she said and sat down on a window ledge. She looked out over the dark night, a kind of solem and beauty to the groudns. "How about yourself?"

Sirius_Black - March 31, 2009 11:06 PM (GMT)
He continued to stare out onto the grounds. Random thoughts and memories flushed through his mind as he conversed with Lizz.

"You should be fine. Just be sure show some confidence towards the students. I didn't hire you to be a teacher for no reason."

He turned towards Lizz, with another smilie, but then something caught his eye. What a familiar looking pendent...

"I'm in an excellent state. Thank you very much for asking. I am eager to get things started though.... may ask you something? Where did you get that brilliant pendent? It's quite peculiar."

Oliversgurl01 - March 31, 2009 11:13 PM (GMT)
Lizz smiled and nodded "o i have no problem with showing confidence to those students' she said laughing a little. Just as allways memories flashed through her mind at first of happy moments which were few with her family, very very few actually. Then the painful ones, her mother, Sirius and others and the last most powerful one that had caused all the other ones was her father. "this?" she said pointing to her pendant "its my family crest, Black"

Shawn Black - March 31, 2009 11:24 PM (GMT)
Shawn came marching up the steps to the astronomy tower, his acoustic flying-v guitar in his left hand. There was just no way he could play indoors, people ask him to play all the time, and indoors there are too many people. He reached the top of the steps and heard voices, two very distinct voices. He could obviously make out Ricky's voice, and the other's belonged to a girl.

Whatev's its just ricky and someone else, what's two people? He thought as he pushed open the trap door and climbed out. "Ricky, Professor." He muttered as he found his way to the corner and threw the strap on. "I hope you guys don't mind..." He muttered, as he began to play something soft. He started to play "Wayne Andrews, the old Bee Keeper" By the Prize Fighter Inferno.

OOC: listen here if you want :)

Oliversgurl01 - March 31, 2009 11:30 PM (GMT)
OOC
thats a good song
BIC
Lizz nodded in his direction, she had seen this new guy around school but didn't know his name. She hardly knew anyones name anymore which made her a little down about it "not at all" she said softly listening. Music happeend to be her weakness.

Sirius_Black - March 31, 2009 11:32 PM (GMT)
"Your familiy crest, huh... That's very peculiar indeed."

He continued to stare at the pendent, and then, in a moment, he quickly tapped the pendent with his index finger. At once the pendent began to emit a low glow, and then disappeared at once. He then looked over behind him to see Shawn walk in and began to play his guitar.

"Hey Shawn. After your done playing, you may want to check out this Professor's peculiar pendent. Doesn't it seem famliar?"

Shawn Black - March 31, 2009 11:37 PM (GMT)
"Indeed.." Shawn said, as he walked over, finishing the lap steel solo at the end of the song. "Now, where's this peculiar Pendant we're talking about?" he asked, smiling, pushing the guitar behind his back.

Oliversgurl01 - March 31, 2009 11:44 PM (GMT)
"hey!" she said standing up, "what did you do with my pendant, thats all I have from my family!?" she said defensively. Lizz was scared it was gone for good, it was the last thing Sirius had given her before he well died shall we say and she was surely not about to let it go.

Sirius_Black - March 31, 2009 11:49 PM (GMT)
"Please calm down, Professor. You can trust me."

He held out both his hands, one holding the pendent of Lizz, the other holding an emerald-incrested ring. Both were softly glowing. Both had the Black seal.

"It's right here. Shawn, please show this pleasant women here, your seal as well. It seems fate is having a busy night."

Oliversgurl01 - March 31, 2009 11:53 PM (GMT)
Lizz saw her pendant and calmed down and looked at the ring crest and hers, exactly the same *this is impossible!! there all dead! nothiing should have come out of that hosue except from a Black!?!!* she thought to herself wating to see Shawns.

Shawn Black - March 31, 2009 11:56 PM (GMT)
"Ahh good thing I have it here then..." Shawn said as he turned the guitar back around. On the headstock of the guitar there was a small crest. It was exactly the same as Ricky's ring, and the other professors pendant. "Had it taken off my dad's wand when i got my own, 6 years ago." He added, smirking.

"Well well well. Looks like we have a new family member Rickster... Only blacks have this.."

Oliversgurl01 - March 31, 2009 11:59 PM (GMT)
"woah!" she said as he said new family member, she looked at the crest on the guitar EXACTLY the same down to the last little detail. Lizz looked between the two, "your telling me you two are Blacks...........as well?"

Shawn Black - April 1, 2009 12:04 AM (GMT)
"My dad was Gawain Black, eldest of the Black children." Shawn said smirking. He picked a few notes on his guitar and looked up. "Well now that there's three we can have a party, because just two was boring, yah know?"

Sirius_Black - April 1, 2009 12:04 AM (GMT)
"You are correct. We seem to be related. Not all the Blacks remained here in Britain, you see. There were several members who, for their own reasons, scattered several years back. So there are still, quite a few of us left."

He handed Lizz back her pendent, and discarded his ring once more.

"I am related to the Blacks through my father, Sirius. My mother was a women by the names of Alaizabel Cray. Three definetly makes a better party."

He gave Shawn a smirk, chuckling softly, as he turned back to Lizz once more.

Oliversgurl01 - April 1, 2009 12:13 AM (GMT)
Lizz was in disbelieve, "My father was Regulus, Sirius's younger brother" she said softly, "i'm his youngest daughter" she regained her full voice shaking her head a little. She took her pendant back gently and put it back on making double sure the clasp was secure, "I'm sorry, I just......when I asked about my family I was told they had all been killed or dead, that no one else was alive" she said trying to sort out everything in her brain.

Shawn Black - April 1, 2009 12:17 AM (GMT)
"Well, my dad is only your father's half-brother. And he was murdered 9 years ago, along with my mother. I had a brother, but..." Shawn said, but his voice trailed off. He never really liked talking about Shika. 'The Bad Egg' pretty much summed up Shika. "So yeah, not many knew about my family, Just my grandpa, and my family knew our lineage." He added, sighing.

Oliversgurl01 - April 1, 2009 12:19 AM (GMT)
LIzz nodded, "Rosemain, my sister was or is? three years older than me," she said softly. THe last time she had seen her sister was gosh, twenty some odd years ago, Lizz had just gotten onto the quidditch team and had run into her at a game. But they only saw each other for six months before POOF.........she disappeared.

Sirius_Black - April 1, 2009 04:33 AM (GMT)
Ricky glanced over at Shawn at the mention of his brother, considering the thought that played in his head. He then turned view to his attention again to Lizz, leaning back against the castle wall, with his arms crossed. He let out a small smile.

"Ah... siblings. Can't do much about them, can you. Maybe it was in favor then, that I am an only child, as far as I know. Not much about my side I can confirm, as the bits of Black history I know are from the previous Headmaster. I was actually abandoned near birth. My ring is actually Hogwart's property. Reference about our family."

Oliversgurl01 - April 1, 2009 03:57 PM (GMT)
Lizz smiled, and nodded 'abondanded at three, but yeah i guess its for the better. wow" she said sitting back down on the window ledge. So she wasn't alone anymore, that was good but how would this change her life.

emmanuelle snape - April 20, 2009 04:04 AM (GMT)
Her hands hung delicately by her sides as she climbed the weathered stone stairs. Many feet had ventured up the pathway in search of thought or merely to gaze at the elegance of a night's sky. A black jacket, stretching to her knees curved around her torso. Raven curls wavered over her shoulders in a messy, dazed fashion.

The night had compelled her. Her body was restless in the linen sheets and yarned for some action. She never could understand why she came back to the retched school. It's walls flashed weakness and vunerability as the concrete began to chip away. Her heart had lost spirit in all causes, landing in a pit of hate. All friends had left, all but two. They, too busy with their own lifes to care much for her.

Her fingers dressed the crumbling door, gently tilting in wood towards her. She manipulated her feet to graze the cobbled rooftop. Leaning from the balcony was a joy. The depths of the grounds almost visible in the evening mist. Her hands clutched the chilled stone as she lingered.

zamber - April 21, 2009 07:10 PM (GMT)
Zamber hurried up the stairs to the Astronomy tower humming to herself. Once again she had woken from a nightmare that she had not wished to return to. Going for a walk was the only thing she wanted to do to clear her head. It would have taken her a lot quicker to get to the tower but another student had been walking the corridors and not really wanting to face anyone she had taken a little detour.

Pushing the door open she felt a wave of fresh air that made her shiver. The weather may have been very warm during the day but at night it still felt like winter. Cursing herself for not grabbing a jacket she walked out onto the tower and found that she was not actually that cold, it had just been the shock of it that had caused her to shiver.

Looking around her she spotted that someone else had decided to venture into the Astronomy Tower that night.

Pete Best - April 22, 2009 12:26 AM (GMT)
George walked up to the tower feeling very happy and for once it wasnt because he was intoxicated,he wasnt. He saw Elle over by the edge looking somewhat sullen so he decided to see what was up."He Elle whats your problem you look like you could curdle new milk"He said kissing her on the cheek

emmanuelle snape - April 22, 2009 09:14 PM (GMT)
"Milk?" The words slipped from her tongue, slicing through the tense silence. Now there was an amusing thought. Somehow the boy always had the habit of encouraging the entertaining side of any emotion you just happen to be feeling. In this case it attempted to raise her lips, but failed. She was too far gone in her morbidness. She stared blankly into the open. Her head never shivered from the position. Her cheek exhibited a breif blush of colour as the boy's lips caressed her skin, however she couldn't bare returning the gesture.

Her hands embraced her chest. A comforting action, which settled her muted screaming. Although she was stereotyped to be strong and arrogant, she felt neither. Regretting returning was a bad move. How could she be so unkind to the people that loved her and she loved back, like the boy stood infront of her. He had all intensions of cheering the gloomy girl up, but she had to give him the chance to prove himself.

Her gaze brushed his face as she twisted from the wall. He seemed so innocent and ignorant of the traumas of life. STOP IT! She screamed again silently.

Pete Best - April 23, 2009 01:11 AM (GMT)
"Yeah that would be a fancy way of saying you look like shit. Now seriously whats up with you?George said sensing that Elle wasnt in the mood for company but determined to a least make an attempt to cheer her up

emmanuelle snape - April 23, 2009 08:28 PM (GMT)
Unfortunately, for her to truly explain herself she would need mountains of time. She was unsettled with her life she had constructed from the pieces straying over the road. Her history had been patchy and that's how it stayed. She hung a hand over her forehead, flashing hair roughly backwards. Her mind doubted that George had the capacity of a cousellor. That's what she needed. A durable shrink, who could split her feelings into managable chunks. Eyes swinted, the red lining tracing where the cries use to fall.

"Shit. That sounds almost pleasant from where I'm standing." The flesh upon her face showed no intensions of moving. Her limbs felt like collapsing into the dirt, where she belonged. Each muscle tensed to secure her stance. She couldn't reveal a weakness. It was pitiful. The vunerablity was pushed aside as her heart pumped a fresh dose of blood around her body.

Pete Best - April 24, 2009 01:06 AM (GMT)
"Come on Elle i cant help you if you dont tell me what the matter is.You know i care about you tell me whats up so i can help you deal with it"George said in a more aggressive tone hoping that Elle would open up

emmanuelle snape - April 24, 2009 08:57 PM (GMT)
The reasuring from her dearest George wasn't easing her situation. Her normal judgement disrupted the ways of trust. Serving her feelings on a plate wasn't a up- lifting move. A friend was trying to help her through this confusing predicament, but all she could do was push him away like all her other friends. That's why they left. To get away from her, it was so obvious.

Her weight shifted from one foot to the other rapidly. The long jacket lifted gently across her thigh, flashing bare skin. The fun side of her personality had left her standing. Maybe it would return in a matter of seconds, but it wasn't favourable. The moon glossed an elegant, luminous glow over her skin. She was made for the nocturnal life, bathing in the beauty of it all.

"What makes you say I need help?" She called reluctantly. Her arms rippled off her chest to her sides cautiously. The darkness held dangers not only for her.

Pete Best - April 25, 2009 01:32 AM (GMT)
George gave her a look that plainly said your kidding me right? He was really beginning to get annoyed with all her games but he could still see that something was wrong and as annoying as she could be sometimes he really had feelings for her and would do anything to make her happy...except maybe give up drinking

"Its written all over your face and theres no use denying it so ud best own up and tell me what the matter is"

emmanuelle snape - April 25, 2009 08:15 AM (GMT)
Elle understood she wouldn't be able to control this charade for many minutes longer. Finding the strength to confess her emotions was the hardest part. His annoyance with her was clear. He seriously wanted to help her, care for her, instead she slapped him in the face. If she couldn't trust this sweet boy before her, she would never anyone esle.

Her fragile fingers clawwed at the rough stone edges for stability. Unconscious urges wanted to twined her body around the boy, but her heart shrugged the fantasties away. The emotions she felt seemed already displayed for the world to see without giving her observers another laugh. Her lips signalled the start of speech. Instinctively Elle took one last deep breath. "I'm lonely." She uttered delicately. It was hard for her to admit that her ways had lead to the disappearance of most old friends. The guilt flashed through her body, unsure whether she had urged them to leave.

Pete Best - April 25, 2009 05:35 PM (GMT)
George saw the blow coming but took it full in the face anyway he was starting to get discouraged. He still just waited for Elle to finally open up which he thought couldnt be long now untill she finally said something

"Your lonely?Well youv got me"He said putting his arms around her"And im not going anywhere"He added kissing he lightly

emmanuelle snape - April 25, 2009 07:16 PM (GMT)
The display of public affection made her feel nervous and uneasy. Her flirtatious side had been caged for the boy's well being more than anything. It was the time, nor the place for intimacy or closeness between the couple. His repulsion towards her exposed George's true feelings for her. Her mind desperately hoped she hadn't lead him on. A moth to the flame. She needed him more than anyone at this hour. There he stood, skin against skin waiting a response to his kiss.

Her arms twined gently around the nape of his neck. The action signalled an approval, however she wasn't in the mood to get physical. Her lips pushed away his hair as she whispered. "No need for desperation George. I'm not going anywhere!" All her conscious mind needed right now was a cheering up, not involving alcoholic treats.

Pete Best - April 26, 2009 01:27 AM (GMT)
"Whos getting desperate?im just trying to make you happy your so much more pleasant like that"George said smiling. finally all his work had paid off.He leaned in and kissed her head "ok now that your in a better mood what do you want to do?"

emmanuelle snape - April 26, 2009 05:36 PM (GMT)
Her mood would mask her fun natural for a while longer. Although the truth of her feelings was out, she still found it hard to forget the others caught up in the worry. All the friends she left behind when they needed her. She hoped not to show these lasting emotions to George, hiding them away. They were her worries and would stay that way.

A smile displayed delicate dimples on each cheek. A thin blush of red still revealed the radiance of her complexion. The connection between the two was unbroken as she lossened her grip on his rough skin. Her body longed for the return of provocative side of her personality. She had a man ready to perform any command, but yet all she wanted to do was sit here. However, she wasn't ready to ruin George's moment. "Could we dance?" She whispered pathetically. To waste the beauty of the starlight would be criminal. The natural light shone a spotlight onto the couple, light flickering over her bare skin.

Pete Best - April 26, 2009 06:14 PM (GMT)
"We could"George replied"But we would need music to dance to"

emmanuelle snape - April 26, 2009 06:28 PM (GMT)
"Music?" Elle questioned rapidly. She had no need for music if she wished to dance or not. Her imagination would settle the dilemma. George had admitted that he wanted to make her happy, but yet he seemed to go against his word. Dancing was just a few simple movements of the hips and feet. She was unsure if he was making excuses. The activity seemed like the only one that would insist on their bodies being close to one another.

"You underestimate my skills George." The words were close to a whisper. Her hand delicately looped his around her hips. The other hand gripped his flirtatiously. She motion inspired the pro- active Elle to return. The build up of energy she felt needed to be expressed. Her neck flicked the lost raven curls onto her back agilely. "You see my sweet. Are you still refusing to dance with little, old me?" She giggled, her lips finding his in a kiss.

Pete Best - April 26, 2009 06:48 PM (GMT)
"If you say we dont need music then i suppose we dont"George said moving his hand a little lower and started to lead her around the tower. He took in close adn dipper her down so her head almost touched the ground

emmanuelle snape - April 26, 2009 08:02 PM (GMT)
His strong arms lead her around the balcony effortlessly. Her hips swayed gently to each step. A shiver coursed along her spine as his hand lowered. The firm grip signalled the depth of his desire. She felt the glare of the midnight sky across her back, leading the dancing on. She couldn't have hoped for a better person to find her alone up her, in need of company. The misery, which had been lingering behind locked to the back of her mind. In place was the excitement she felt in George's arms. All his attention was on her and she could wish for nothing more.

"Where have you been hiding all my life?" She uttered seductively. Her teeth gripped her bottom lip.
