Jes walked into the leaky cauldron, sitting at the bar as she waited for Sacre to arrive.

sacre walked into the pub with a slightly tired expression etched on his face. spotting jes over at the bar he walked over and took a seat next to her. you come here often? he asked with a small grin.

I'm in here most days. Haven't seen you around though. She said, ordering a butterbeer.

yeah, i usually only come when my wife wants to meet up here...but you know if we hurry i'm sure we can get out of here before she shows up... he said teasingly with a grin.

Annabell walked into the pub from just having got off work, she needed to relax and unwind. she sat ordered a firewiskey and sat down in a corner table. She hadn't seen anyone in a long time, just getting back from vacation and some personal leave time.

Jes smirked. Well if you want to we had better leave now. My husband will be here any minute and he has this horrible habit of getting jealous of any man that talks to me. She explained, sipping her drink.

sacre chuckled lightly, i don't get that jealous... he smirked before kissing her cheek lightly. you have a good day?

She shrugged. We got newbies in at training today. She told him with a shrug.

sacre nodded, so that explains all the nerves looking teens around the office today... he smiled before ordering himself a drink.

Jes nodded. And there is absolutely no skill amongst any of them. She sighed.

well not all of them can be as good as the last group...least not when they first go in anyway. he said with a sympathetic smile.

They all only just scraped the marks to get into the program. THey have no abilities whatsoever...and for most of them Defence was their worst subject at school. She explained to him.

well haven't you been saying you've needed more of a challenge at work? he asked with a raised brow. besides tomorrow you'll be getting a new recruit...much older then the ones you have at the moment. he added.

What do you mean I'm getting a new recruit tomorrow? She asked him, turning face on to look at him.

well you see as you may have heard alec gets out tomorrow and he said he wanted to start auror training as soon as possible. he said as he sipped his drink that had arrived moments before.

Jes grinned. Thats great! She told him. He can help me with the newbs.

sacre nodded with a grin, yup, and i plan on bring you, him, claire and river and cam out to a welcome back dinner tomorrow night. he added before taking another sip of his drink happily.

Jes smiled. I think everyone would love that.

sacre nodded, not to mention tomorrow is when river and cam are suppose to get back from their last mission.... he smiled though it was a slightly worried one. no matter how many mission river went on or with who is still worried him that he wasn't there to make sure nothing happen to her.

Jes smiled. You really have to learn that she's capable of looking after herself. SHe told him.

i know she can...i'm a father and shes my little girl...i'll worry just as much about parker when he's out of school... he said as he looked at her with a smile.

Jes smiled and kissed him quickly. You're such a sweetie. Just don't let River know that you worry so much about her.

sacre smiled at her with a nod, no worries. i won't. i don't feel like having her get annoyed with me about it. he said with a light chuckle.

Jes smiled. That's probably not the best thing on the day your son gets out of jail.

or any day for that matter. he grinned.

Jes grinned and finished her drink. Wanna come with me to do some shopping? Cam and River aren't going to have any food in their house and Cam gave me money to do some before they got back. She explained.

sacre downed the rest of his drink before nodding, yeah, sure. i gotta find some new clothes for alec while we're at it. none of his old stuff if gonna fit anymore.

Do you know what size he is now? Jes asked, dropping a coin onto the counter.

very thin... he sadi jokingly before shrugging, not off teh top of my head but i have it written down. he said holding up a piece of scrap parchment.

Well we'll get his clothes first. It won't be good if we have to carry cold food around while looking for clothes. She explained.

sacre nodded in agreement, good idea...where do you think we should go? he asked with a raised brow.

Jes shrugged and slipped her hand into his. Where do you usually shop at?

sacre shrugged, a place that sells clothes...guy clothes...and the clothes look nice...don't you know where i usually go? he asked with a small grin.

Jes looked at him with eyebrows raised. Why would I know where you shop for clothes. Not once in the entire time we have been together have I bought you clothes. She told him.

yeah...i know that...i just hope you would know cuz i don't remember...last time i bought new clothes myself was a year ago... he grinned.

Jes rolled her eyes at him. You're hopeless...Maybe I should start buying you new clothes.

if you want to you can...but i get to come so i like what you get me. he said with a grin.

And what makes you think that you won't like what I buy you? She asked him.

i don't...i just wanna go and help pick things out too... he explained with a grin.
