As most of our active members know, I have decided to bring the recently split BF back to one site. It is easier to manage, more activity, and all around better for BF. (Seeing as we didn't really have full permission from Jackie, the site's original owner, to split the site)

Since I am the most active admin (besides Ultimater) I am doing this by myself and I have to admit, it's hard.

Which is what this announcement is about.


If you would like to continue any RP thread you had on the other BF site, I am giving everyone permission to start the same thread here and post your last post to continue it.
Normally, only mods, professors, and admins can start threads in our RP forums. But I am allowing everyone to. (except guests and banned members)

Please do not abuse this privelege. I will start the most abundant topics (i.e. The Forbidden Forest or The Lake)

Also note that we will be reinstating all moderation jobs. What that means is that all mods will have to re-apply for their positions.

I know it's a pain in the rear but it must be done.

By the way, was there any groundskeeper spots available from before? I don't get on nearly enough to mod anything, but I would like to help keep it organized when I come to lurk.

Delete the spam topics/posts as I see them, mostly.

what're you going to do to BF the second? your not gonna get rid of it are you? oh and you should prolly post something like this on there because people still post on there. i think they're doing that because they prefer rping there...course i could be wrong...oh and i wanna keep my job!! hehe. Er...we had groundskeeper positions then they got filled and I don't know if they've been exactly "active". I'll have to check that out.
And ugh, I know. I gotta find a spam block or something cuz a couple of weeks ago we had porn pics all over the place. It was horrific....

And for the time being, I'll leave BF II alone. I'll post this message there but I'll give it a few months untill I either delete it or something. But don't worry, the whole transfer will be done by then. :)

course you could always just move this site over to BF II because that one doesn't get any spammers. just a thought.

I can't though cuz this one is connected through www.blackforest.com which I don't have any admin control over. (Only Jackie does, I think) She still pays for the site but I only have powers on the forums....

I think it wouldn't be too bad if we left BF2 alone for awhile. People do seem to have stuck to that board, and we would still need to move/recreate topics here.

A post of what's going on is still needed though.

Yeah, all those spam topics are the main reason I'm requesting mod powers. Even it's just the power to delete spam.

i remember ultimater saying that BF II would never be taken down. i think it was in one of the topics voting if we should go back to one forum.
