I'd feel sad if I gave away all of the love songs I listen to...I tend to feel like finding "one" for you and him needs to be something you guys like, do together. It tends to be one of those things where you're just trading music back and forth one day and go, "crap, that's our song right there".

ok, please dont take this the wrong way...but isn't the point of having a song thats yours is that its a song that is playing at an important time in you relationship...say the first date, anniversery, something like that, you shouldn't look for it. And what's so important about havign a song? i find it kind of cheesy and cliched, maybe he does too. You should just talk to him about it.

And I've always found that a "song" is just a song that you both listen to, love, and just "click" with. It's a song that you either love or identify with - whether it was playing at an important time or not, because what if you hated the song playing on your first date, or your anniversary.

There's no problem with looking for songs - in fact, looking for them can make them all the more meaningful when you both find one you really love and just go "OMFG THAT'S OUR SONG".

One Question by Rhett Miller is a fantastic song, that I highly recommend.
