OMG did any of you guys knew that J.K Rowling made Dumbledore gay. Not that i have a problem with it, but it was kinda unexpected, for me at least.

I don't see why it's such a bad thing. It never actually shows anywhere in the books that he is gay, it's just JK saying that she always thought of Dumbledore as gay...what's so bad about that?

I think it's very interesting to find out Dumbledore was gay.
ESPECIALLY to find out even further that he was in love with Grindewald.

Their whole "story" and "history" was fishy to me and it made me wonder.
I always thought dumbledore to be a little gay.
He is just such a cute old dude and loves everyone.
and didn't have a wife, or kids. and i mean...usually that happens by the time your his age ..ya know?

i agree 100%. i mean if your friend came up to you and said 'i'm gay' if your truly there friend you would 'ok i'm still your friend' though it would take some getting use to. i hate people who think people turn gay because something bad happened to them.

People need to realise that not everyhing is black and white anymore.
people aren't all "perfect". It's not like there is anything wront with how dumbledore is.
You would think people, even though he is just a fictional character in a book, would find that as somewhat as proff that not every homosexual person on this planet is a "flaming freak". It's all basically good to me.

Thing's like this should not cause controversy but should be praised. It's clear JK Rowling is not an ignorant brit! Not that it's thougth that she would be, but it just goes to show that there really are good people in the world.

No not all christians think that but alot of them do I know quite a few and they are so annoying saying you are gunna go to heck if you even pick up the book. They are just stupid and need to be ignored. THey have no clue what they are talking about after all they let their kids read The Wizard of oz and The Lord of the Rings

I am a christian, I got to a christian school, but I am not a bible thumper, but I do not have a problem with people who are. But I know ALOT of people who think there is nothing wrong with Harry Potter. My english teacher is a bigger harry potter fan than I am, and she attends Church every sunday, and praises God like no other! XD
