Alright, now I'm about at the part where Dobby dies.

I usually am not touched by books, but this was just really sad. Rowling did a good job at this part.

Am I the only one who felt this way?

First, I will change the title of this topic, because, people still haven't read the book. At least some haven't.

Next, I didn't cry when Dumbledore, Snape, Sirius or anyone dies. But I did when Dobby died, I cried for a day! I just couldn't belive it!

Anyway...Dobby dieing. JKR really did do it good. Not likes Sirius'd death. But...this was difdferent, something you wouldn't have expected!

Indeed. Dobby's just such a cute character, even in the books. And his last words probably indicate that he had shielded Harry or something.

Dobby, I didn't even see it coming, at all. I just thought Harry would be all 'Dobby you saved the day!' 'Oh, no problem Harry Potter'

True. Poor Dobby. I really hated Bella for that one. The only deaths i expected before reading this book were Snape's and Voldemort's. All, the others, didn't expect, but, oh well.

I thought only 2 people were going to die in the book!

She said only two main characters would die. But I didn't think she'd kill as many as she did.

Finally done reading, and sadly, Lupin, my favourite character, died =(

Also, why the heck does he call his own wife Tonks? First off, he should call her Nymphadora, not by last name. Second off, it should be Nymphadora Lupin now, not Tonks.

I never thought I would cry over Dobby. But I balled my eyes out when he died.
But by my username you can tell I love Fred Weasley/James Phelps and I never cried when he died. Weird? Huh?

I didn't cry for Fred because someone told me he died beforehand which made me very angry

I agree I wish JKR didn't kill her off I mean a mother's duty is to stay and protect her child and the mother dies so not right
Honestly I didn't really mind that Dobby died I knew someone would have to to bounce Harry back to Reality.
