Title: Memory loss
brokenzheart - August 24, 2007 10:55 AM (GMT)
What would you feel if your friend were to forget you overnight just because of a head injury? Know someone who lost he's memory? What would you do if you have a friend who lost he's memory? Talk about it here
Well.. I have this one friend, he was my god brother, we were very close. But.. the said thing is, he lost he's balance and head on he's head on the ground. he don't remember any of us. We're graduating already and.. I really hope he will remember us before graduation. Our whole class are really worried about him. He don't remember us but pretend that he does because, all of us know that he don't want us to feel sad. He himself also knows that he lost he's memory. Some of us even cried behind he's back. I cried two days already. It happened few days ago.. What should i do to help him recover he's memories? Or should i just wait?

I think you should try taking him to places he used to visit and see people he used to know and do things he used to do. It might help jog his memory. But of course this has never happened to any one I know so Ican't realy say much about it.

I got memory losses before and it was horrible! But it was rather temporary... I agree with zamber. Go to the places he always goes and do the things he used to do. Thats what my friends did and I eventually worked.

I heard from my friend who lost he's memory before. Its was scarey. Is it really scarey?
Actually, we did.. Our class shown him videos of the times we had together.. He just answered, no i don't remember.. *sigh* all of us is at a lost now.
He almost lost he's way to school.. And, even asked us "Excuse me, may i know where's the toilet." All of us studying at one corner, during night classes, stared at him mouth wide open. We were like, what the....
Hope he gets better soon tho..T_T

I naturally have the worst memory ever. I can't remember anything really below my 8th birthday. Everytime I tell a story, I never know what age I was, or what exactly happened, where it happened at, or even when it happened.
My boyfriend and I get into a lot of arguments about my memory, because I forget basically everything. It's horrible. :(
It's a defect, honestly. I think I'm gonna have really bad memory problems in my old age [if I make it there] haha.

I'm sure it will come backbut it will take time and alot of pationce. Youll probebly all have some realy depressed moments. But when he finnaly can remember it will probebly be the best thing in your life. It will also show him who his true friends are.

Not only me helping out.. my whole class did.. we tried to make him feel like the old times always crazy and noisy in class as if it was our own home.... if he can remember.. But, he seemed so shy.. want to say something, but don't dare to..
Recently he's been having headache.. does it mean the memories are returning? Good or bad sign? o.O

That all depends on what's wrong with him.

Two people in my year have recently lost part of their memory. One of them is a friend of mine. I can see how it upsets and infuriates her at times. Like in Maths the other day she couldn't remember how to times and divide.
