Necessary or no? Do you believe it's something to be concerned about?

It is both good and bad. It is true they are dangerous, but they also help us in wars. So..I would say they are necessary. Really...they may come in handy one day.

I say unnessescary. I suppose they are good in war, but does that make something good, that it is used to kill people for selfish reasons?
Because, really, name a war that began for a good reason.

I don't know...but if people are going to attack you. You just don't stand there, waiting to get hit. I would hit them back.

But if people could just evolve and get over their barbaric stage, than they would see that war is unnessescary on the whole. Aren't most kids told "Violence isn't the answer, Use your words." ? Why can't they carry that throughout their life?

You can. But the other person needs to be ready for that.....if they are going to keep offensing, then there maybe no other way.

True enough. Violence never solves anything. Self-defense is another matter though. You may be for peace, but that doesn't necessarally mean the other side is.

As for nuclear weapons, its definetly not needed.

I believe there are other ways but violence to resolve situations and circumstances. But people tend to make violence/power necessary to cease an argument.

I think violence needs to be the last resort, but it doeasn't always need to be.

Violence can be avoided through peace talks, which need to occur. We need some women- haha. Men are way too hot-headed.

Nuclear Weapons are not necessary, but as Ricky said- the other side may see differently. It's good to have them, but we don't necessarily have to use them. :]
