Beneficial to a community or a burden?

It's a burden of course. Gambling is luck. You win, you get everything. You lose, then you lose it all.

Well thats a simple way of putting it.
Its only realy beneficial to the goverment and the few that acttualy win big and leave it at that. Thoughs who win big and carry on gambeling are more likely to suffer from the loss than thouse who only gamble accasionaly.

Gambling = addicting.
Especially when people don't know when to stop.
All about chance. Very few things in life are for certain. Doing well in betting is not one of those things.

Gambling is very addictive!!! When you win sometime, you start thinking you can always win....

In Ohio, they're thinking about using casinos and other gambling venues to benefit the educational field. By donating a portion of the casino's profits to colleges/campuses/public/private schools all over Ohio, so that- in some way- it benefits the state.
We use YOUR addiction to increase OUR learning. :lol: Yayyy.
No, but really. In some ways it would be good, but yes- as people have said here, gambling has been known to break up families and ruin lives. :]
GAMBLE RESPONSIBLY. YO.
