Title: EVERYONE! Read the rules!
Description: Don't force us to warn you.

Foei - August 10, 2007 03:03 PM (GMT)
Sorry to post such thing in again, didn't mean to spam but it seems like no one goes to the "Rules Topics" and read them.
So here is some of the rules I got from Hogwarts Grounds forum
QUOTE

3. No foul language!! There are millions of words in the English language-use them. We don't even want to see an asterik in the place of a letter in a word! This is a G rated board, keep it that way!

4. "Treat others the way you would like to be treated." Unless it's for the direction of a topic, treat other members with respect.

These are very easy rules to follow, please do not break them, or we will be forced to warn you. Thank-you, and enjoy your role-playing!

The Black Forest Boards Rules

Please follow these rules. If you do not, you will first be PMed about it;
then you may receive a warning if it continues.

1. Have fun! If we didn't want you to,
why would you be here anyways?

2. Use common sense. Don't say anything
that you think will offend someone; everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Dont use foul language, because it just shows a person of low morals. On top
of that, why do you need to go there?

3. No double posting. Do not reply
to your own replies, one after the other. You may use the edit button to edit
your replies. Learn how to edit your replies here.

4. Please dont use chat talk! Please don't
write "c u l8ter", write "see you later", etc.

5. The only place where you can write "im
eating", "im bored, someone talk to me" or "anyone wanna chat?" is reserved
for the Great Hall. What I mean by this is if you wanna reply with just what
you're thinking that moment and it doens't concern the topic is the Great Hall.
I can't have the boards fill up with totally useless replies. However, go ahead
and do it if you wish. Just do it in the Great Hall.

That's all for now!

Thanks,
Blackforest

Thank you for expressing your views and such in your avatars and signatures. We love that you do that, only we ask you follow just a couple of rules in order to maintain order.

Avatar Rules
1. No offensive material. That's a given.
2. Do not steal other people's custom made avatars without their permission. That's rude.
3. Don't fret! We have a few avatars you can choose from! Just click below to see them!
http://www.blackforests.com/avatars.php
4. That's about it! As a general rule, it's probably best not to upload it to our site, you should use an image host (we're only allowed 8mb of space on our message board!). How do you do that? Well, http://www.imageshack.us or http://www.photobucket.com can host your image for you. We have in a seperate topic how to do that...

Signature Rules
1. No offensive material. Again, this includes images and writings.
2. No text like, "I don't like [someone's name]!". That still counts as offensive material.
3. The most number of images stored in your signature should be 1 large images or 3 avatar sized images. You know what I'm talking about right? Avatar images can go next to each other and take up about as much space as larger images.
4. I don't want to set up a certain pixel limit in images quite yet, but I will soon if users take advantage of it.
5. No links to "adult" sites. You know which ones I talk about!  <_<

***********************************************************

Yes, well thank you. Follow the rules and we'll have no problem. I'm sure they're not as strict as other big sites. Just have fun!  :banana2:
