Title: How Long?
Description: How long did it take you to read Book 7?
nor_forty_four - July 28, 2007 07:42 AM (GMT)
I sat in bed for and read for almost exactly 12 hours. There was no way I was taking a break.
What about the rest of you?
MimiPRGameFreak - July 28, 2007 08:05 AM (GMT)
I was in Chapter 14 and read all day to the end. Took me like 12 hours also. Though my dad was bugging me, which was made me pissed off, cause I was trying to read the book. He slammed the book and lost my page right in my face that even pissed me off. I told him off when he did that. Then he started "Awwww! Reading Harry Potter!!!" Why does my parents interupt me when I'm reading something that is awesome, even when it's a Harry Potter book. <_<
LadyStar - July 28, 2007 09:00 AM (GMT)
I took my time with it. I read it in about 2-3 days.

i think it just depends on how fast you read.I mean one of my friends read OOTP in 5 hours but i could never of done that.It would take me like 3 days maybe more.
nor_forty_four - July 28, 2007 03:18 PM (GMT)

Sora Saridian - July 28, 2007 03:18 PM (GMT)

LadyStar - July 28, 2007 05:29 PM (GMT)
I hadn't read any novel in some time so I made many stops when reading this one. Also, because this was the last book I wanted to take my time. Still I couldn't have finished this in less than 12 h even if I wanted too xD
Shawn Black - July 28, 2007 05:46 PM (GMT)
I finished all 7 and then reread the 7th in 8 days.
took me about 6.5-7 hrs to finish the 7th first time around. i can take things in and read mad fast at the same time. (i also prepped myself by reading the whole series the week before. lol)
harry-potter - July 28, 2007 06:41 PM (GMT)
I read it in 2 days...I wanted it to go slow...but I didn't want to control myself.
Terri - July 29, 2007 02:33 AM (GMT)
it took me about 3 days because I had to pass it around between 4 people but if you only count the time I read it took me 7 or 8 hours
LadyStar - July 29, 2007 05:44 AM (GMT)

I know hoe you feel my dad's the same.
It takes me one day to read one book apart from the first three that takes less. So the 7th I read in one day and then I read it again after reading the whole series again.

Well, I was reading for about twenty minutes right after I got it (43 minutes after it was released, and proud. :] ) and then I woke up around 8:30 and read straight until 1:45, so I'd say a little more than five hours, it took me to read the book.
Loony_lovegood223 - August 7, 2007 01:54 AM (GMT)
i had to borrow the book from someone and return it the next day so it took me 7 hours
crazzyfan - August 7, 2007 02:21 AM (GMT)
I read it in 4 days.
My sister, without couting with breaks, read it in 21 hours, more or less.
She's crazy.
