True to Hogwarts’ unwavering nature, the new team of professors are just as relentless and are a force to be reckoned with. Though their duties to teach the students of Hogwarts may be the same, you would be unable to find a group of people more unlike one another if you spent your life dedicated to such a search. With times having moved on and things having changed a great deal in the Magical world, people are considerably different and just as notably, so are the school’s staff. Professors are a great deal more unconventional than they used to be. From men relying on alcohol, and women far too loose for any feminists liking, to sophisticatedly green-fingered Herbologists, and men who own clothes every colour of the rainbow, no two members of staff are quite the same, though whether this is a good thing or not remains to be discerned. The fact still remains however, that these people are in charge, and so if you happen to be a student you would do well to respect these people and do as they ask. But just because they’re the one’s giving the orders, that doesn’t mean to say that students are required to like them. In fact it’s safe to say that a great deal of the staff and students don’t always see eye to eye, and have been known to quarrel on more than one occasion.

Whilst things at the school have changed, nearby areas such as Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley have also altered somewhat. There’s a lighter atmosphere in the streets of the Magical world nowadays and people generally feel a lot more relaxed and safe in its environment, even though places such as Knockturn Alley and The Hog’s Head are still the seedy places they once were. Mostly, the inhabitants of the Magical world go about their lives in peace, at rest after all of the darkness that once filled their lives. But as time goes on, it seems not everyone is willing to let go, darkness is looming once again in the heart of the Wizarding world, and who can tell how long it is before things take a shadowy turn.
