Yup, I didn't find that out until fourth grade and I had been playing piano for a year by then. Heh.

Well, my brother's been playing 2 years probably...He's 15

He plays themes from video games mostly, me and my brother are big video gamers.

Time for little known facts about Drey:

I can play anything on the electric guitar (self taught)
I played flute for two years when I was younger (classes, hated flute)
I played the Chinese bells for one year (Classes. It's so heavy, take up weight lifting if you want to play. It's so much fun though)
I played the clarinet for three years when I was younger (Classes. I loved it best I believe, although I kept spliting the reeds)
I am average on the paino (self-teaching at present)
and, my proudest accomplishment.....I can play the harmonica!!!!
I always wanted to sing...but that just won't happen lol.

I can sing...sort of. But that's awesome how you know lots of stuff...amazing.

Woot. I'm such a band geek. I did symphonic band, pep band, and marching band...and I loved every second of it.

Flute - 5-6 years. Technically on my 6th year, but this year is playing by myself, since I'm not in school anymore.
Mellophone - 1-2 years (self-taught over the span of two months of the summer, and then played for marching band)
French horn - 1-2 years (taught by a friend/self-taught)
Clarinet - 1-2 years, self-taught
Piano - currently taking lessons for it from an ex-music teacher that lives down the road from me.
Guitar - self-taught, still learning

LOL. I used to sing ALL the time when I was younger and I was good at it, but I believe I've forgotten how. I'll probably pick it up one day.

I want to learn the violin, my niece used to play but she did a terrible job at it.

I heard that violin is hard to play.

guitar- self taught (alright, not amazing)
bass- self taught (same as before)
drums- i just bang on them, but it doesn't sound half bad.

*laughs* I'll leave the flute to my girlfriend, she's much more attached to it than I am. But it's a pretty cool instrument, just not my instrumental love.

Hey...i use to play the violin only got to grade 1 in 5yrs! I was rubbish at it but helped me in my music lessons with all the notes. I can also play keyboard and can do a g cord on the guitar!

What play an instrument? There really expensive if you pay one and end up to playing it and get your money's worth.

At school we used to have to have three music lessons a week but that was just on the keyboards. Only problem I found with it was that the teacher was rubbish and you could hardly hear what you were doing.

Electric/Acoustic Guitar- Self taught. Main instrument I'm working at for the moment(electric). Pretty good, but not awesome.

Flute- Was told I was good enough to play for orchestras by professional flutist. haha. But was never into flute playing much. Just did it for the band girls.

Trying to teach myself drums. Not really good, but still fun to beat on things nevertheless.

I can sing and not hurt people's ears. Does that count? :D

!!! You can make big money...I plan on playing in the symphony, I'm almost in seventh grade and already 10th grade level. I don't see how you didn't love it!
