It is the year of 1975 and the Wizarding world finds it’s self in troubling times. Terrible rumors are circulating through the population and not only involving the torture and dismemberment of muggles but the hexing of wizards as well.

The Dark Lord is gathering the members of the Death Eaters and tightening his grip on his power, mowing down any who stand in his way. Even now, Death Eaters have penetrated the Ministry with spies and their influence. It's not only wizards that are being enticed by Voldermort. There are rumors about werewolves, goblins, and Inferi preying on the population. The Ministry denies all of this and has turned a blind eye to all the events even as their aurors fall between the sword.

Hope is not completely lost for Dumbledore has slowly begun to build an army of resistance. The Order of the Phoenix, made up all sorts of wizards and witches of various ages, has slowly begun to make a difference working outside of the Ministry's control. They too have their spies but unbeknownst to them, a traitor is in their midst.

But Hogwarts is considered by most to be the only safe haven away from the madness under the rule of Prof. Albus Dumbledore. Even in the darkest of times, life must go on. The Marauders and the other students still show up late to class, pull pranks, sneak into closets to snog a girl and other everyday goings on of teenage life. But the Dark Lord's influence is not limited to the adult population. A budding group of future Death Eaters has started to form within the student ranks with the sole reason of supporting the Dark Lord.

Where will you stand? Will you rise to power with the Dark Lord or stand and fight with the Order?

The Nine and Three Quarters RPG is a new Marauder’s role playing game that sticks pretty close to cannon. Many cannon characters are still available but we encourage and welcome original characters.
We do ask that only serious role-players apply, though we do leave room for improvement. So if you think you show potential, you will be more the welcomed at the board.
