Well...When harry found that that Horcrux was fake, he saw a piece of paper from someone named, perhaps, R.A.B.

In this one i have NO idea but many ppl think that it could be Sirus brother.

I also think that....At least he had a motive...he wanted to quit but voldemort didn't let him... So he got his revenge...(I'm guessing). And when Voldemort found out that he was plotting something against him he killed him...

I think that you have something there, but i dont think it was him. If you remember in the book, Dumbledore said that only a very powerful wizard would have been able to get to the Horcrux, let alone get it because of the potion. I don't think that Regulus was that powerful of a wizard.

I don't know why Bellatrix would steal the Horcrux...It doesn't make much sence, but its a choise...

The second I saw RAB, I imediately thought Regulus Black. He's the only RB, so maybe his middle name starts with an A. After all, he was killed after leaving the Death Eaters.

Exactly right Sarah, and that's just what I was thinking, BUT-my first thought was Regulus. He did indeed back out after being asked to do something that he didn't want to do, maybe before he backed out, he helped place that Horcux there, and once he did back out, he went back and destroyed that Horcux, because he helped put it there, and knew how to get it out......just a thought. They did say that he only lived for a few days after he left the DE.

Actually in book five it says he was killed by Voldemort, OR on Voledemort's orders. Sirius then says "I doubt he was ever important enough for that." I think that he only says that because he was bitter towards him for becoming a Death Eater.

i can only think of it being regulus. ever since i finished the book i've been racking my brain, trying to think of all the characters that have been introduced, and i still cant think of anyone but him.

Its cant be Amelia Bones, because her full name is (I think, I cant write it well in English) Amelia susan(dont know how to spell) Bones, its not RAB
I think its a new character, and if its Sirius's borther Regulus, maybe thats the reason that Voldemort (or one of his death eaters) killed him, and not because he wanted to quit... another thing that only DEs calling Voldemort "The Dark Lord..."

yea it would but you'd have to be like really powerful to get it and I thought they said a couple books ago that he wasnt a really good wizard? so how could he have got it?It just doesnt add up to me is all which is why I think it might be Ameila Bones b/c she could have gone by her middle name then her frist name could have started with a R and it would add up but im not really sure its really kinda hard to try and figure it out....

Im alllmost sure its a new character,but if not, the only one that we know about with the name RAB, its maybe Regulus Black...

Here are some more reasons that I believe it's Regulus Black.
1) In the note, it says 'Dark Lord' only Death Eaters call Voldermort the Dark Lord--Regulus was a Death Eater.
2) The person with the initials R.A.B. knew that they would be dead soon, which after leaving the Death Eaters, I'm sure Regulus knew this fact.

That's all I have for now, but I may find other reasons soon.

I'm definetly sure it was a Black. Remember in Grimmauld Place, when they were cleaning everything out? They found a locket that wouldn't open!

You're reasons make sense to me, Tiffany! The fact that it says, Dark Lord, does kind of give us a clue that it's a death eater. But what if R.A.B doesn't stand for a persons name. What if it's a secret code type thing the Death Eaters use. But yeah, I think that it either stand for Regulus *** Black, or a secret code that is tricking Harry into thinking it's a person's name.
