sensui - July 27, 2004 03:35 AM (GMT)
They are underestimated alot of guys got beaten by a all girl team called the chettah girls my team didnt get to face them so what do you guys think
Corrupted Vortex - July 27, 2004 03:38 AM (GMT)
well I asume most girls are underestimated, I have yet to face a girl who acually blades but my sister isnt that bad, I mean she almost beat my galeon that I had used for months with a galman she had used for minutes so yeah I underetimated her and almost lost so yeah I definetly need to be more cautious
Summoner Yuna - July 27, 2004 03:40 AM (GMT)
Yes.
Everytime I have a battle (rarely).I get underestimed.
Zanon - July 27, 2004 03:53 AM (GMT)
Women are underestimed in alot of things in society. Not just beyblade.
For example, jobs.
TysonKaiMike - July 27, 2004 04:08 AM (GMT)
yes,so beyblading is only a small part of a big case.
GenocideBB-Shadow - July 27, 2004 06:04 AM (GMT)
I've never fought a girl Blader before. But yeah girls are understimated in a lot of things...other than housework.

Here, males are expected to do housework better than females...
Anyway I battle my sister and I know her strength... I'm just disappointed that females don't give their all at times...
Tala - July 27, 2004 10:04 AM (GMT)
Kerborus is ranked no 1 Female UK blader so thats something. At the Glasgow tourny there were females blading.
GuardianX - July 27, 2004 03:28 PM (GMT)
I have yet to face a girl Blader... But for some reason in my head I always picture a quiet girl with a strong Blade. And I keep getting beaten... >.>; I think it's just the luck I have sometimes.
Tidus - July 27, 2004 10:03 PM (GMT)
girls get discriminated in alot of things

If you're a UK person, watch "Men in Frocks" on Sky one. Men do what Women do. I pity you humans.
Summoner Yuna - July 27, 2004 10:20 PM (GMT)
Probably becuase there are almost no female bladers in the anime.
There was 2 in Beyblade 2000 (Mariah and Emaly[?]).
And I think about 3 in V Force/2002 (Salima,Mariam,That other one O_o).
Edit-
I'm being underestimated right now.Again.This guy online is telling me he could be me with a Wolborg 2.
This happens every day. -.-'
Hitoshi Kinomiya - July 28, 2004 01:12 PM (GMT)
girls are weaaker bladers
Kai02 - July 28, 2004 01:19 PM (GMT)
I don't think they are weak...I have to yet to face a girl blader but would really like to...I mean mabye they think of diff ways to battle stratigy then us guys do...nevern know but I think it would be a good experence
Hiwitari Kai - July 28, 2004 01:30 PM (GMT)
I always vs. my sister's friends, they don't have different stradigys then boys, they think the same as boys. I beat them though. oh and her friends tend to use pretty bit beasts lol cause they know pretty beyblades are weak. but they shouldn't be underestimated.
Inuyasha_2K4 - July 28, 2004 01:44 PM (GMT)
I battle my sister sometimes but she almost nerver wins(its because the way she launches)so yeah I think they need to should not be underestimated.

I don't what the hell you say you can't just go ahead and say femlaes are weaker bladers just becuase they're female.
I hate sexist.
whitefire - July 28, 2004 08:13 PM (GMT)
I think that girls should never be under estimated under estimateing any one is bad if you do you may lose and will look really stupid ;)

Girl bladers are only under-estimated if the person is a stuck-up, idiotic, and not very respectful bladers. I personally think girls are better in some areas of blading than boys, vice-versa.
Brooklyn - January 21, 2005 10:47 PM (GMT)
Girls are underestamated in almost every aspect of life. Beyblade, Basketball, contests, smarts, ect...
Personoly, I don't underestamate girls, some of them are really good at what they do.
Manta - January 22, 2005 07:32 PM (GMT)
I've never faced any girl blader before. However, one of my friends did and was beaten badly. But, he was really good ether...

AHEM....I don't think we're weaker beybladers. Yeesh sexist people.
Yeah I think I get underestimated a bit for being a girl blader, but what does that matter? I only blade for fun anyways.
Kiotzu - January 23, 2005 01:38 AM (GMT)
UR A Chick....Liger.....I thought you were a guy...wait you are a guy....aren't you
Brooklyn - January 23, 2005 04:00 AM (GMT)
No, she is a girl, XD. Back on topic.
Raven - January 23, 2005 06:19 PM (GMT)
Yes, girls probably are underestimated plenty... 'cause people are stupid... unfortunately, I odn't know any female bladers... yet... although I did show this one girl a couple of the deeper [arts of the game, and she seemed somewhat interested, so perhaps with the right push, it's only a matter of time... er... anyway, some bladers out there are just pompous jerks who'll say that crap to you anyway. There's some people I know, always bragging about how easily they can beat me, they have yet to do so -__- So, some of them might not be sexist, they may just be pompous morons who can't back up their words
Karou - January 25, 2005 11:26 PM (GMT)
The answer to your question is yes.
Just because girls are more fragiel then guys, everyone thinks that girls can't do what guys do and thats not true. Because some girls are better then guys, such as beyblading. I hate it when boys think that just because I'm a girl, then I suck at beyblading. Then that's when it gets interesting, because I'm the one who beats them badly. :)
alex_lei1993 - February 6, 2005 09:16 PM (GMT)
I don't think girls are underestimated. There are many good girl bladers.
ryy - February 8, 2005 09:35 AM (GMT)
girls tend to be weaker bladers because beyhobby is boys hobby. boys are more enthusiastic about it.
Also, the fact that men have naturally stronger muscles also plays a part =\.

YAY FOR GENERALIZATIONS!
ryy - February 10, 2005 11:09 AM (GMT)
oh cmon its damn true. Males in the human race have, over time, acquired stronger muscles as we tend to have had the "dominant physical worker" role. If you want to go argue, go shout at darwin.

um... that's also partly due to upbringing, for example, in the schools around here, the expectations for guys are a lot higher than those for girls in PE class. Example, a guy has to be able to do 15-35 push-ups, or something like that, and a girl only needs like 7-err... I forgot, but anyway, sure that's all well and god cause "guys are supposed to have more upper body strength" and stuff, but still, for a minimum, 7 as opposed to 15? that's just pathetic, especially cause (most of) the girls around here I'm quite sure should be able to do at least 10. So... ya, people expect so much less than girls, and SEVERAL people, either sex, will just go by with the minimum requirement, and since so much less is expected of the girls, they do less, don't end up as strong, and society ends up screwing them over, in an endless cycle. -_-

Muscles don't play much of a factor in Beyblade.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. Sorry to pop everyone elses bubble but you don't have to have any strength to be a good blader.

Indeed it is not the strenght of the pull but the speed of the pull, more muscles means more mass thus slower pulling, or I could be horribly wrong.
Shadow - February 13, 2005 07:02 PM (GMT)
I hate being under estimated as a blader I take beyblading seriously just like anyone else
Haku - February 13, 2005 09:17 PM (GMT)
I don't think girls as bladers are underestimated. Girls in general, however, are way underestimated.
In beyblade, the only reason most people don't take girl bladers seriously is because girl bladers aren't very well represented. For instance, there is not one girl I can think of that you could mention and have someone say: "She's a great blader".
No offense, by the way.
