Title: Bladers And Blades

[FONT=Times][COLOR=purple]
So many topics about what the bestblade is... <_<
The blade doesn't make the blader. -_-
A good blader with a bad blade can still beat a bad blader who has a better blade.
A good blade helps but it's not all that matters. ^_^
PMax - May 26, 2004 05:20 PM (GMT)
I totally agree, but the ultimate blader with a Bump King can't beat a newbie with a Dragoon GT(this was really stupid).
Ancalagon - May 26, 2004 05:53 PM (GMT)
Your right. But both is really important, you know!
spin_away - May 26, 2004 05:56 PM (GMT)
that's true. but sometimes I wonder if people are taking the "best beyblade" thing a bit too seriously sometimes so I thought I'd point it out. am I making sense?
NX-01 - May 26, 2004 06:03 PM (GMT)
good blader + good blade = deadly
bad blader + bad blade = weak
bad blader + good blade = weak
good blader + bad blade = deadly
you see the point here?....
spin_away - May 26, 2004 06:24 PM (GMT)
that what I think.
-_- but a good blader who becomes over confident of his strengh can loose even against a weaker blader
GenocideBB-Shadow - May 26, 2004 06:28 PM (GMT)
This has been my belief for a long time. And I've stuck to that after I left my old team. I hate people who think it's just the beyblade that counts.
NX-01 - May 26, 2004 06:38 PM (GMT)
this is how I think...I think that most power comes from the blader, because, look at the way you bladers launch...you can launch with a long-ripcord and have a good 'baseball arm' I call it (beacuse my friend can add more endurance to his spin rate with his right arm)...
Ancalagon - May 26, 2004 06:40 PM (GMT)
yeh.. can't stand ppl like that. those hwom get/are overconfident, might just get loco when they loose, wich happens often. Atleast those hwom I know..
PMax - May 26, 2004 07:47 PM (GMT)
I have a friend like that!! He stopped beyblading 'cause he thought no1 could beat him.(He has a Wolborg 2) I told him he was wrong, and to prove it I challenged him to battle. We did the best out of 3. He won the 1st, we drawed in the 2nd and I won the 3rd. After that, he said he was going to train to be the best blader. The day after, he broke his Wolborg 2's AR while training...

WRONG!
A rookie can't just pick up a blade and win.
Chibi Kira - May 27, 2004 12:31 AM (GMT)
comparasing-
Newbie with Dragoon MS
Expert with bump king
most likeley the newbie is gonna win.
KaisRevenge - May 27, 2004 02:19 AM (GMT)
well it kinda is a blade that helps the blader be better but more of it is raw strenth and skill
drigerblader - May 27, 2004 02:28 AM (GMT)
doubt it
I can beat a newbie with any blade
practicing makes the difference

I wanted to say the blader is more important than the blade, but the blade is important too!!! If there were no blades, there weren't any bladers!!

Damn right. Most people in my area think I'm a rookie cause I use HMS. But I prefer using HMS because I'm so used to them more than plastic types.
Without skill there woulden't be much into beyblading like it is now.
drigerblader - May 27, 2004 06:45 PM (GMT)
why would the use of hms make you a rrokie
if anything it shows how experienced you are

I couldn't agree more. Whats the use of a noobie having a good blade if he/she can't even use it properly.
blazer75 - May 27, 2004 08:50 PM (GMT)
Yeah I agree too. A newbie with a Wolborg MS can easily beat a master blader with a Draciel V. Maybe it is 50 50.
Karou - May 27, 2004 09:35 PM (GMT)
^ not totally...draciel v isnt as bad as it seems for a great blader.
I could probably beat someone with a ms blade with my dranzer g...not to sound cocky though. just saying. a great blader needs a great blade...end of story ^_^
Kerberous - May 27, 2004 10:56 PM (GMT)
Well see it simply, if you get a new blader a crap beyblade then it's gonna be easier to beat them. Blades like Dragoon GT I found really hard to launch so I doubt a beginer could get one to spin.

My Dranzer G snapped Dranzer MS.
Hatake Fantom - May 28, 2004 09:55 AM (GMT)
me and my team are all experienced bladers with some ok combos. We had a neighborhood tourny and a whole bunch of little kids entered challenging me and my team to a battle. They all had some pretty good blades but when we battled each one of them lost.I was like "wth those blades are sweet so why the hell didnt they win."And thats when I really started to think that if you cant use the blade correctly then don't use it.
drigerblader - May 28, 2004 02:01 PM (GMT)
Whenever I beyblade against anybody (I always have to bribe them to play, nobody around me has any) I give them the best ones I have for good practice. They never win though, even with the best.

Most people believe HMS are too powerful and dominant because they are half metal.
But I figured out why Takara made them alot smaller than original beyblades to even the odds. Some think HMS makes you look more professional when you do different types of launch stances.
spin_away - May 28, 2004 06:11 PM (GMT)
Well we all agree that the blade isn't the most important thinkg.
But a good blader does need a good blade. In a way it's a sort of sign of respect (like if ur a really good blader but have a crap blade people don't respect you as much as if you have a good one) <_< I don't get why though...
Has anyone else noticed that it is getting more and more difficult to find other bladers around where you live ._. coz I can't. or is it just that no-one in London (england) like blading....

I kind of noticing. But most new beybladers I see are too amateur. I beyblade with my friends and reason we never care about losing is because it's the fun that we think counts and not victory (not all the time anyway).

This is not the forum for introductions.
I think the blade is just as important as the blader. You have to be skilled with a blade, no matter what it is, and you have to have skill yourself.
You can't just have a good blade and expect to be good.
It has to be a balance. Like Yin and Yang. Blader and Blade.
Chibi Kira - May 29, 2004 01:11 PM (GMT)
Even if a bad blader has a beyblade 15 times better then your, that's still a threat.Even if your 15 times better then him ..

I was about to say somethin liket that.
ok...I have a friend..who can literally do anything he wanted to a blade...ok,like this...if you give him any blade or the suckiest blade of all...you can guarrantee that he will win every battle with it...seriouslly though,he can do that.

 it must be magic.
spin_away - May 29, 2004 07:55 PM (GMT)
both are important, no blade no blader, no blader no point in a blade. Like Roan said: its 'Like Yin and Yang'
can't have one without the other
