Title: Beyblade In The Future

Chibi Kira - May 20, 2004 09:46 PM (GMT)
What do you think beyblade will be in the future?..I don't know mine yet.

drigerblader - May 20, 2004 10:03 PM (GMT)
my beyblade or what it will be like?
I think it wil lose popularity a ton and then only have the few hardcore people left playing

yea I think that 2 -_-

tbone13 - May 20, 2004 11:38 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I think that's most likely going to happen.

Kira - May 20, 2004 11:42 PM (GMT)
Notice how HMS Beyblades we're huge, then it suddenly dropped O.O;;

Ray - May 20, 2004 11:44 PM (GMT)
Yeah. In a few years, we could be ther only bladers left standing. :P

Chibi Kira - May 20, 2004 11:47 PM (GMT)
Or far in the future,we all old people still beyblading

Haku - May 21, 2004 12:57 AM (GMT)
I think blading will continue for at least 10 years, but it won't have anywhere near the popularity it does now. Actually, I know the production of beyblades will continue for at least 10 years, because Takara never ends a toy line. I'll never lose my blading faith, no matter how old I am.

Raven - May 21, 2004 01:33 AM (GMT)
or maybe it will pick up a bit and just kinda blend in with checkers and chess, and all that good crap ^_^

blazer75 - May 21, 2004 02:03 AM (GMT)
I'm not sure how blading will be. I am sure that it will be a lot more high tech and it WILL be more popular as Takara makes new series.

*Thinks about radio voice activating blade* :mmmm:

PMax - May 21, 2004 04:38 AM (GMT)
If Takara doesn't stop the blade making, I think it'll still be popular!! I hope so...

drigerblader - May 21, 2004 01:25 PM (GMT)
I think it may pick up popularity again sometime though, possibly when they release hms here
I think takara needs to start picking up the slack on hms, I mean 1 blade a month isn't enough

Hah! sure ' go dragoon left turn 90 degrees then stay stil" ROFLMAO

tbone13 - May 21, 2004 03:52 PM (GMT)
I doubt that would happen.

I'm sure there will be eg ms blades. o-O

GenocideBB-Shadow - May 21, 2004 05:07 PM (GMT)
I doubt beyblading will loose popularity. Since you lot already know that the game is being put of by little kids in TV ads etc, I'm doing something about it. It's like OTC but something way better. :))

blazer75 - May 21, 2004 07:56 PM (GMT)
When G-rev starts in america I know it will become more popular. But since there isn't another season after g-rev, I think the popularity will die, FAST!

LazerBlader - May 21, 2004 10:52 PM (GMT)
Yes people <you>BEYBLADE</you> itself, the trend will die in a year or so. Here's how I see the upcoming future:

HMS
HMS MagnaCore
HMS EG?
DEAD

along with...

2004-2005 G-Revolution will show (or maybe Nelvana will split it so it lasts two seasons e.g. episodes 1-25 shown one year and then the rest the following year)

2005-2006 Perhaps the first season will show because many bladers like I and many got started during the end of the first season or mostly in V-Force.

DEAD

Beyblade will die but not its idea. Listen "fighting tops" seems to resurface a lot. Stated in 16-17th century lasted some decades, died. 1960-1970s revived again. Lasted half to one decade; DIED And finally now. I'm asian and both my parents came from Asia. My father played with the original Bey Goma and now he's middle aged and sees me with my Hms and EG, MG, RC and is amazed. It will revive only in a different form.

That could be true. But if beyblade is revived in like 10 years or more,I bet there not gonna like it because it's not the "hightech"

NX-01 - May 22, 2004 01:14 PM (GMT)
this is how I see the future of beyblade.

only bits of patches pf people/kids that are still in blading, only maybe 500/600,000,000,000 kids/people still play, thats alot of people not playin.
and then...when beyblade dies out even more,TCG will take over the world

LazerBlader - May 22, 2004 01:31 PM (GMT)
Sujaku, How do you know it would not be high tech? Technology has always been unpredictable. My dad's impressed with Beyblade. Something will come up most likely.

drigerblader - May 22, 2004 01:50 PM (GMT)
yes, the technology of beyblade so far is very impressive and it's only improving with blades like advance striker and phantom fox coming out
I think beyblade in north america can only get more popular, as everybody who has seen my hms blades likes them

blazer75 - May 22, 2004 09:09 PM (GMT)
True. When HMS hits the stores, beyblading will be very very popular.

I think the most hightech beyblade relating things are EG. I think that was very smart and took a lot of time.

GenocideBB-Shadow - May 22, 2004 09:23 PM (GMT)
The way I see it. After G-revolution is finished, I bet Hasbro will cook up something Takara never tried before.

Maybe HMS Engine Gear will come out because Hasbrio always cooks up stuff like this. But the previous things they've done isn't so good.

Beyblade will always be known through history.

Atomic_Blader - May 22, 2004 09:33 PM (GMT)
I think it is going to be just like pokemon

doubt that
hasbro will always do what takara does, or like what they have done
such as the rc eg blades, nothing really new but something unique to hasbro

blazer75 - May 23, 2004 12:46 AM (GMT)
Yeah, habro isn't that creative. I coubt they will cook something up without a petition.

GuardianX - May 23, 2004 03:58 AM (GMT)
Well, Beyblade in general will die down. No doubt. Like all popular fads, they die. Sure, the toyline may continue for probably forever, like Transformers. But once G Revolution is done, people will be watching different things. Tv ratings will go down, and kids who see Blades that aren't on the show are less likely to buy them (Like me when I was younger).

Anyways, that's my theory. I mean, Pokemon was probably the biggest fad in North America. Sure there's people who still like it. But not enough so then the new Pokemon movies make it to theaters or a lot of the toys being produced. Now, Beyblade I don't think, was ever that popular. So think about it.

Well, if Beyblade ever rises again, I'll be sure to buy a few for my kid.

Kai - May 23, 2004 04:32 AM (GMT)
Yeah I agree with GuardianX that sounds about right.I would probably try to get my kid to try them if I keep them.

GuardianX - May 23, 2004 04:35 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I know probably within myself, I'll still have a thing for Beyblades. Like I do for the Pokemon Gameboy Games. ^^;

they can't be creative...they like have to produce the same products as takara does

It might be hightech....then more people will buy it..

"dranzer come out of beyblade" XD

if it's 2 high tech,it will probley take away the spirit of beyblading

PMax - May 24, 2004 03:00 AM (GMT)
This is starting to look like what happened to the All Starz in S1!

Battòsai - May 24, 2004 06:37 AM (GMT)
I dun care about the future. I'll take it as it come.

I'm blading now.

drigerblader - May 24, 2004 02:59 PM (GMT)
that was an expert answer outsider, I like that
I can't see myself giving up this game no matter what happens

You bring up great points, but I don't think any of them are valid.

Beyblade will continue no matter what, no matter the fanbase. Its here for at least 10 more years.

Kira - May 24, 2004 04:44 PM (GMT)
As for the anime, there isn't really an anime that has 'died'
such as Dragonball Z, Pokemon, Digimon and other familar anime's are still going strong after many years.

Dragonball Z has been on for as long as I can remember, and I'm 15 years old, so that should give you a hint.

Mobile stadiums? Cyber Dragoon arenas? They did make some of their own stuff which isn't as impressive as we may think, but it is to most people. I'm holding on the idea of HMS EG.

Kira - May 24, 2004 04:48 PM (GMT)
Or, go back to plastic beyblades. (hopes)
