Title: Formation of regional advisors proposal
East Moravia - June 17, 2003 04:43 PM (GMT)
East Moravia proposes the formation of difrent regional advisor in The Balkans.
Our suggestions so far, are that this advisor will focus on specific issues that affect the region, and assist the UN delegate in its functions.
The advisor roles that we suggest are:
*Security Advisor
*Political Advisor
*Economic Advisor
*Social and Cultural Advisor
Thracia - June 18, 2003 01:19 AM (GMT)
This is an interesting idea, and I do not want to dismiss it.
However, the process of selecting/electing advisors, and later possible conflicts between advisors are going to create additional problems.
Is the benefit of having these advisors worth the problems that might create?
And how are the advisors going to be elected? Or are they going to be selected by the Regional delegate (following the model of the prime minister or the president who chooses the members of the cabinet or the ministers)?
Let's think about this idea together and let's discuss the pros and the cons.
Jugoslavija - June 18, 2003 03:41 AM (GMT)
The government of the People's Republic of Jugoslavija supports this idea.
The region Alliance of Socialist States has a system like this, and it functions well. They elect advisors, and if they do not fufill duty, the nations elect another.
Tolomakia - June 30, 2003 10:36 AM (GMT)
The idea is good. To make it work I think the regional delegate should select the advisors and decide what tasks each of them will carry.
The Bulgarite - July 5, 2003 05:48 PM (GMT)
I agree with this idea. However, I think that it should be decided what tasks the advisors will carry before this idea is put ot work.
New Garneria - July 6, 2003 05:36 AM (GMT)
This is a great idea. I think that the regional delegate should decide but the choices should be ratified by the other Balkan nations in a poll.
Leidestrad - July 8, 2003 03:56 PM (GMT)
Leidestrad wishes to use as an example, the Unified Balkan Alliance, formerly the MPLE Alliance. Of the 4 foundign nations, each nation has a role. Pepestonia is the economical advisor, Leidestrad is the general spokesman, Montfoslavia is the political advisor and EAst Moravia is the social advisor.
And operating under this support structure, The Alliance has not only succesfuly operated but, has expanded to benefit more nations.
