This bank notes will be distributed starting next monday on all banks in the MPLE agreement and to seevral foreign banks in the region. It is expected that this currency is fully operational in 2 weeks.

Byzantine Territories - June 15, 2003 05:26 AM (GMT)
Please do not ship this currency to banks in Byzantine Territories as they will simply be returned to you. These notes will not be accepted in the Empire for any debts public or private. Thank you.

Tolomakia - June 30, 2003 09:57 AM (GMT)
Tolomakia certainly does not share the extremist views of Byzantine Territories. We will be happy to trade in whatever banknotes our neighbours and partners choose to use as their national currency. Therefor the UDB will be recognized and accepted all over Tolomakia, just as well as the other Balkanian currencies are.

QUOTE (Tolomakia @ Jun 30 2003, 09:57 AM)
Tolomakia certainly does not share the extremist views of Byzantine Territories. We will be happy to trade in whatever banknotes our neighbours and partners choose to use as their national currency. Therefor the UDB will be recognized and accepted all over Tolomakia, just as well as the other Balkanian currencies are.

Our government formally protests the characterization of our views as "extremist" by Tolomakia. We believe our record of cooperation with our neighbors speaks for itself despite our opposition to the MPLE. We ask our allies and friends to remain level-headed in the face of these inflammatory accusations.

Sincerely, J. Tzimiskes - Imperial Foreign Minister

Tolomakia - July 1, 2003 07:30 AM (GMT)
Rejectin something only because you don't like it is extremism. If the four (now seven) nations decided freely that they want to use UBD as their national currency I don't see any decent reason to reject the banknotes.
