There are previously adopted resolutions that promote or mention gender equality, like the "Universal Bill of Rights", so this resolution is not absolutely necessary.

yeah ok but, if its too confusing to ya mate, welcome to the world of corporate law, heh thats how contracts look and sound roughly...but this obviously had a lot of strength behind it and is enforced to the fullest, it makes equal gender right mandatory, not just promoting gender rights. not saying that u should always take the extreme route but thats what happens, sometimes its the only way to get things done.
