The Balkanic Peninsula Peace Agreement

As proposed by the delegation of sovereign nation of The Democratic States of Leidestrad on the General Assembly of the Leidestrad Summit.

And after ratification and amendments by sovereign nations of The Balkans, the text is as follows:

First Article:
We the signatories of this document, agree to conduct our relations amongst the other signatories, by the principles and precepts hereby contained, and maintain them as a norm of conduct in regard to relations with non-signatories.

Second Article:
The signatories hereby agree to renounce to war as a way of expansion and/or political pressure to any nation in the Balkans and accepts the peaceful solution of controversies.

Third Article:
The signatories hereby agree to maintain the principles of respect, tolerance and cooperation in the relations between Balkan nations and non-Balkan nations.

Fourth Article:
Each nation will be granted the right to express itself in the General Assembly and the right to the free opinion on topics of regional concern.

Fifth Article:
Each nation in the Balkans will maintain its sovereignty and right of self-determination above all.

Sixth Article:
This document will promote the creation of a Balkanic Court of Justice to mediate the disputes between nations.

Seventh Article:
This document will be open for adherence from any nation in The Balkans who is willing to uphold the principles and precepts herein contained.

Eighth Article:
All signatories will be demanded to respect the basic Human Rights of both its inhabitants and foreign citizens within or out of their territories. And to conduct their relations accordingly.

Ninght Article
All the signatory nations will take as their responsibility the protection and the vigilance of this Agreement, and shall be responsible of conducting themselves as agreed upon on this document. Should any nation conduct itself out of the agreed articles of this documents, the rest of the signatories will have the responsibility of demanding such nation to adhere to the agreed articles in the spirit of cooperation, peace and brotherhood.

This document was signed and ratified by the representatives of the following sovereign countries without any clauses of reserve.

The Most Serene Republic of Montfortslavia
The Federation of Pepestonia
The Free Republic of Tomolakia
The Free Republic of East Moravia
The Free Republic of Thracia
The Holy Empire of Byzantine Territories
The People’s Republic of Jugoslavija
The People’s Republic of Annoyastan

This document, then, shall be implemented and ratified by the community of sovereign nations of The Balkans on this day, June the Ninth on the year of Two Thousand and Three.

This document will remain open for adherence by any sovereign nation of the community of Balkan nations and must inform all the signatories of its adherence and ratification.
