Nations of the Balkans,

It has been brought to our attention the irrational and dangerous actions taken by the nation of -Republica- in taking hostage a goodwill embassador from New Garneria to honor their Revolution.

This is a crisis that stands against all of the values and work of our region. A few moments ago a telegram was dispatched to -republica- to inform them of this situation. In order to guarantee the legitimacy of any actions taken afterwards, this is a copy of the dispatch.

URGENT DISPATCH FROM UN REGIONAL DELEGATE:

The Democratic States of Leidestrad, as Regional UN Delegate, hereby by this means, demands the inmediate and unconditional release of the New Garnerian Embassador.

A compliance deadline of 24 hours from this moment is set.
Should this conditions not be met satisfactorily, possible military actions will be taken to release the hostages and or definite explusion from the region.

THERE IS NO NEED FOR ESCALATION OF THIS CRISIS
PLEASE COMPLY ACCORDING TO THE REGIONAL PRINCIPLES OF PEACE AND COOPERATION

Thracia agrees with Leidestrad that this is a very serious crisis.

But before contemplating a military action or expulsion, we need to at least let -Republica- defend itself, however indefensible its action may have been.

-Republica- should respond either in our invisionfree.com forum, or in our regional headquarters.

The 24 hour deadline should be for -Republica-'s reply. And only if this deadline is not met, should we set a second deadline regarding either the correction of this action or a very substantial apology that woulld include reparations, if the ambassador was killed.

-Republica- has responded and admited that the New Garnerian ambassador was killed. Why? Just because he was not "elected"!!!!

That is not just stupid but criminal!!! -Republica- must be punished for this murder.

If Leidestrad agrees, Thracia would like to see that our UN regional delegate hold an ejection vote about -Republica-

The people of the Holy Empire of HRVATSKA and His Holy Imperial Majesty Pavao Marijan I see with a great pain and hopelessness the vile magnicide of the New Garnerian ambassador. We have sended a telegram expressing our most heartfelt condolences to his family.
We absolutely condemn this flagrant violation of the Balkanic Peninsula Peace Agreements; and it must be punished. But also we must think on the people there on Republica; in case of war, the civilians will be the first whom suffer the brutality of an military action.... We do the History, and the History with the next generations will judge us!.
For that, the people of the Holy Empire of HRVATSKA and His Holy Imperial Majesty Pavao Marijan I purposes this:
1)- The conformation of the the Interbalkanic Peace Forces on Republica (IPFOR), leaded on principle by the Holy Empire of HRVATSKA (but with rotational leadership every 2 weeks or the time that will be acorded) to make the necesary military actions to keep the peace there, with the needed humanitarian assistance.
2)- In case of expulsion of the Republica's government; we suggest that the remanent territory be under the control of the IPFOR as: International Zone under the administration of IPFOR; until the arrive of a new nation the Balkans Region.
3)- In case of repartition of the remanent territory of Republica; we suggest also that as first action; the IPFOR make the same it's explained on item 1, under the terms of item 2; but until the Office of Regional Cartography makes an decition about it.
Remember that the war is only the last action that must do the civilized nations. The future of the people of Republica is on our hands, if the IPFOR will go there... and in that case, we must protect them. The Holy Imperial Unified Forces is preparing for this. We purpose this with the wish that the Balkans shows to the world that the Justice shall be prevail here!

Please we ask to all the nations of the Balkans that answer this great purpose.

But seriously, I think that expulsion is the only smart thing to do. If we are threatening the Czar with expulsion, and that is only with the production of WMDs, then we must do it on the fact that an act of war was committed! I hate to see a nation go, but it is the only smart thing to do.

We also believe that expulsion is the only possible solution. Republica commited an act of war, going against the founding principles of our region, and for this must be punished accordingly!
