The administration & moderation team of New Generation would like to bring you the following updates...

1. First on the agenda, we have our members. 64 at the moment. We are dying. Without any active members, we'll die. If we do not have 100 members by the end of October, we will close. Please start advertising and telling all of your buddies to join. If you would like to affiliate with New Generation, please contact Creator.

2. In case you haven't noticed, this board has two owners. RCT Wiz is the new owner, but Creator has the final say.

3. Staff booting. Staff that don't come here, don't get their privledges anymore. Staff members are staff members. They should be active.

4. No more administrator spots. Creator was going to admin you when you reached 1,000, but now I take that away. You guys have spammed your way to almost 1,000, and I choose quality over quantity. (We're talking about the moderators, not regular members.)

5. Please, try to keep posts on topic. Try not to "wander" off topic. (3 words per post)

6. Please, don't spam in any other forum but the spam forum.
Administrators, feel free to comment. Otherwise, please don't comment..

I did not get 1000 posts just to become an admin if that's what you're thinking.

EDIT: Also, I think tht there are too many admins and too little mods. And there should be a 1:5 ratio between mods:members

I think we have a good number of staff and shouldn't add to it anymore. I also think that we have too many administrators and they should be dropped to mods instead.

I think so too, because members can then show the Staff that they are responsible enough to Moderate some forums and not just go around and delete threads and ban members.

We need to demote some admins first.

No, We just have too many. Batman has been acting up though and Creator had to tell him something.

If admins get dropped down to mods then the number of staff will still remain the same so I don't see how that solves anything... unless some of the mods are demoted too.

That's my point. We have too many admins. We have very few moderators.

Admins can still moderate things (i've still got the Mod CP), admins should still be included when counting the number of mods (so we really have heaps of mods).

Well, lets not add to our staff for a long time.

I have to agree that it would be nice to have a few more members, we've been getting quite a few lately which is good. :)

Huh? We're thinking of options to save the forum.

OK, so let's face the facts. We don't have enough members. We have to many administrators. We have to few moderators. We shouldn't get more staff. That won't help. I don't know how to say this....but someone, somewhere, needs to get demoted until we get more members. When we get more members, they can have their spot back. I'm not sure, though. I'd like a word from Creator on this.....?
