Alright... I know some of you want nothing more than Tooya to be run over by an eighteen-wheeler multiple times, but... ^_^;

What do you think of Aya and Tooya's relationship? Were you happy with it, let-down, perhaps even jealous? :lol:

My view... hmm... I was annoyed at times when he simply wouldn't BE there for her, but in the end it all came together for them. I think they are good for each other. Think of all the obstacles they overcame, just to remain together! ^_^

I do not know much, but in the Reqium dvd I thought they looked perfect. Toya was very protective and caring for Aya.
Reminds me of one of the Myst novels. The book of Ti'ana. Of course, I cannot spoil you.

I see box-sets on EBAY I think. :blink: But I may be wrong. I remember seeing one in Chinatown, too, I do know there's a Japanese boxset, but as for English I thought there was, maybe if you read the descriptions on EBAY or something it'll say so. But the rest of the series is wonderful. *_*;

Gotta be careful with the eBay ones... ^_^; One is decent, and the other is horrible, so I've heard! If you go with eBay, get the blue boxset. My friend had that once and she said it was okay. (Fellow cel collector.) The other one is NOT good, subtitled wise. "Ayashi no Louise" or something of the sort.

LMAO. Oh my God I think my friend has the tapes of that. XD; I got mine from one store in Chinatown and she got it from another, and Aya is Little Faerie, Chidori is Thousand Bird, Ceres is Louise, Tooya was Ten Nights [but that one works XD] and it was all crazy.

Blue box set, you mean the one with the picture from the poster from... er.. one of the dvd volumes? The one with Ceres and her arm, and then Tooya like "T_T" And Aya wearing like... hardly anything. >_>; And Shiso looking to the side all evil like? That was the one I saw in Chinatown. XD

Yeah that's the one I saw. XD I remember screaming when I saw it cause the picture was awesome.

Is it the picture with Aya and Ceres on the top center and the guys on the bottom? Tooya had that velvet thing running between his fingers and Yuhi and Aki standing on both sides of him?

That is the first dvd, right? Yeah, the cover is beautiful. I also love these covers (I found the pics on the site): Destiny (Awesome), Past unfound (looks so pretty), and Resolve (Gosh, I love the artwork done on Aya).

I do not really trust Ebay, unfortunately. My family trusts them. I always worry that I might get a fake or they might take my father's money. I always worry when it comes to them. :(

And I'm always careful on ebay, too. If the seller is a company, or a user with a high positive rating then they're more trustworthy than lower ones.

Same here. My brother always ALWAYS buy shoes off Ebay. I rarely buy off them. I do not know who to trust, and keeping in touch with the seller is hard sometimes.

Yuhi-san, the DVD link I posted is for the -whole- series. ^_^ And as for eBay, I've been buying and selling since I was 13. With the hundreds of transactions from there and Yahoo, I've only been burned... mmm... five or so times. That's not many in the run of 5 years.

If you do decide to go with the link I gave you, I wouldn't be weary. They have 1500+ feedback rating with only 1.8% being negative (which could just be retalitory feedback from non-paying buyers). The only bad thing with big sellers like this I've experienced is the fact that communication IS indeed slow where they have large quantities of auctions running.

Whatever you choose, I hope it works out for you, be it all the DVDs popping up where you live at once, or eBay. ^_^ Though I get annoyed with eBay plenty of times, our newest member wouldn't be here if it didn't exist. ^_^ He and I met via me selling an Aya cel to him. :D

Ebay is pretty safe from what I've experienced so far. I think when your buying something off ebay, you gotta be patient and friendly. And what Mikage-san said about the retalitory feedback, thats pretty much all it is.

I even took a few chances by just buying something from a seller without the use of ebay, all I did was make him an offer an item, he cancels the auction and i send off the money. This method is probably the unsafest way of buying something online..but you gotta take chances sometimes for the things you really want!

I have the Ceres boxed set that's got a pink cover, dual language DVDs. I'm very happy with them, I've watched the entire series both ways (dubbed and subbed), and the subs are perfectly fine on all three disks. The menu has a little glitch (the highlight on which language is selected doesn't change, but the language does change), but it's not at all an issue. I got the boxed set, and several others at the same time from a seller on eBay called animehits. They don't always have auctions listed, but when they do, I would recommend them. The shipping was fast, and of the 4 series that I bought from them, only one disk was defective, and I was given a partial refund for the defect (I just have to watch the first half of the Tenchi OVA subbed instead of dubbed, so it's not even that big of a deal). ^_^

I've been on eBay since 1999 and I've never not received an item that I paid for. I've had some items take a long time to get to me, and I've gotten some wrong items or broken items, but the sellers have always been good about giving a refund, or I was able to send the item back. I have had several non-paying bidders for items I've sold, though, which is very annoying.

Only bad e-bay thing that happened to me was I ordered a video game, and they just sent me the demo disk for it. o_o;

I have a serious hating for a seller called dexmor who sells a bunch of computer games for different prices (the game is the same) and he does his selling in ebay. I ordered a game two weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived to my house. He lives in Canada but does that really matter? This led me to hate ordering things out of the U.S.A.

I actually ordered vol 2 off ebay, ends tomo, hope I get it.

Ya see, for my friend online from livejournal and all that, I asked who wanted to see AnC, and I got one reply, so I'm taping it from my DVD to a tape for them. But there's somf flaw in my 2nd DVD that when I press record the screen messes up, my two also has a flaw that allows it to fastforward over the title thing. x.x;
