I saw Reqium dvd and I could not believe the way Toya died. It was terrible. So, how do you feel about his death?? Be honest now. I cried. I felt badly for Aya and all their friends. The way the little girl (who transformed into a tennyo) was killed was sad, too.

This is my first anime show to have me break down like that. The only other anime that made me cry (or nearly) was a DBZ episode where Goku took Cell away before Cell exploded. Taking Cell away in front of your young son is sad. Especially if you know that you are going to lose him.
But it didn't struck me as hard as Toya's death. He suffered miserably. :(

Mmm... Tooya's death. I agree that it was impacting. Many don't like him, but I see no problem. I don't have many problems with the characters. Ayashi no Ceres was just one of those animes for me where I got attached to everyone! :lol:

But yes, his death was severely impacting. Um... before I go on, though, have you seen the next DVD? ^_^; The ending, I should say. I don't want to spoil something for you, even if this is the spoiler board... haha ^^.

Chidori's death made me cry a lot harder than Tooya's. I don't know if it was the music, Yuuhi's screaming, or a combination of both. If I'm honest, I think it was when Chidori finally realized she was accepted in Yuuhi's eyes, and that's all she needed to die happily. ;_;. I'd die on my love's back happily, too.

That whole Tooya scene was sad. >_>; But in a different way for me. Call me insensitive, but I sorta chuckled when Tooya wouldn't die after so many bullets and being tied up by Wei [omg bondage XD] but it was still sad how up until the end he was calling Aki to come back, and then when he finally did take that last bullet to the head, Aki came out realizing that he couldn't just loose to Shiso, and that was sad cause he was all crying and stuff.

Chidori... ;_________;! That was SO sad. The whole scene, I was weeping when I realized she wouldn't finish what she was saying, and then with Yuuhi... oh my God the way Yuuhi was crying in like, agony was the worse.

Such a sad series. ;-;!

Not one of my finer moments but I loved chidori so much.
I should of saw it coming though. The only other 2 characters
I liked that much suffered the same fate. :angry:

As for Touya's death I didn't know what to think. He was so
cold at times that I really didn't care. That and I figured he
wasn't really dead.

I agree about Chidori. This reminds me in a lot of movies. When a female dies, she tries to tell her lover that she loves him but wasn't able to finish it because her life has ended. And Yuhi's crying was very sad. Although they pick on each other a lot, Yuhi deep inside still loves her. And that is the most sweetest thing.

I might get the other dvds if I see them. Heh.

Now I know! It was Toya that took Wei's eye, right? He used his dagger and left a slash on his eye, right? I remember reading my comic book and I think Wei's full name is Wei Fei Lee. And he is supposed to be Aki's "bodyguard". Now I know, now! Dumb me for forgetting about him.

Hee hee yup that's Wei-sama!! *____*

I cannot wait to see him in action. I am sure he has good fighting skills as Toya's.
