:: points to her signature :: See that Ceres pudgie? That outfit is the one I'm making for BAAF in August when I cosplay as Ceres. Two of the days I'm going as her, and one as Kagari from Gundam SEED. Mom said we can start Monday, but she also said that last week and we didn't do jack. x3; I'm gonna push her to help me.

But yeah, that is my challenge. :3 My NYC Beads store near me can help with the necklace [while I'm there I can get another choker as well], bracelets won't be hard, we're doing the sizing and all that in our very ghetto way. Poke a hole, stick my head in, pin under my arms, cut the shape, sew together, then add the red thing around the neck, and designs by hand. Boots shall be a challenge. Wig, LMAO I live in Manhattan there are like 23874238947e892347239 wig stores in the village. xD; Mana-shaped earings - toughie I'm thinking something thick, but light so I can possibly cut it. e.o;

So I guess along the way I'll post here to tell you all how I'm progressing, depending on my scanner I might take pictures. xD; Maybe I'll even ask a friend to lemme borrow a digital camera so I can easly just upload pictures.

Actually, at my mom's job, they work with computer a lot, so she's gonna talk to her boss and stuff and seeif they have any extra or old digital cameras [anything would do for me] we could at least borrow so I can take pictures on the way. x3

I hope it comes out okay, the way I see it in my mind it seems to be good, but that's only in my mind. XD; It'll probabaly be harder than I'm thinking.

And I'ma use a wig for the hair, I saw the *perfect* one in a store... er.. I forgot where it was. >_>; But my mom should know and when I saw it I was just all. "O__O CERES!"

Once my friend tried to dye her hair blue, but no go. XD We have really dark hair so it'd be harder to use the time dying it, and plus with a wig you can change it, the one I saw even had the bangs and the hair on the side like Ceres had it. **;

Ya know, contacts aren't so bad. I worn them since I was 13...and not a "major" problem since. You really don't feel 'em when they're on...but I guess that isn't what you guys are worried about...you don't like the thought of touching your eyes, right?

Well your eye color is already close to Ceres's so I guess you wouldn't be needing them anyway...

My nephew has the oddest shade I've seen upclose... He'll sit on my lap and I'll stare at him for hours. (He's only a year and a half..)

They are like a really, really light shade of blue, almost turning gray... they seem almost transparent... o_o

Okay well, we started today, but because mom's arm started hurting and the fact we're both lazy mofos, but we managed to get both arms set up. :P The neck looks raggedy, but once we sew on that red pattern thing over it it'll cover it. ^_~ The picture is *REALLY* bad quality, because I had to scan with my bad scanner and plus it was a polaroid piccu. @.@; So whenever I uploaded it anywhere it kinna... messed up badly. The arms aren't as giant as I wanted then to be, and they don't even look at all big, but my arms are up so that bunches it up, but if we would had made them huge it would mess it up. XD The rest of it, don't mind, we're just leaving it to cut around and sew later. :P The project itself doesn't hafta be pretty, just the result.

And it didn't help that my angel-pie kitty kept bothering us when we were trying to cut.

So this is what we have so far. o_o; Don't be blinded by my Quazimoto-type looks. ;D I'm just like "Yeah!" with a huge cloth on me. XD





More is coming soon, this weekend is the festival, so I think Tuesday night we will work on it som'more, and by then I hope to have one of those one use cameras that you can put on your compu. o.o;
