Title: I'm been out.........
Description: but I'm back
Melfina - August 26, 2003 08:01 PM (GMT)
I was in the hospital last sunday for a serious surgery but I'm finally back today after staying there for three days and two nights. I had my surgery on monday after we found out that I was admitted into the hospital on sunday. I was supposed to come home on monday but my father didnt have his own car with him since my little brother needed the car to drive to school (my little one). But today he took my mom's car and took her to work and came to the hospital to pick me up. I'm ok now but feeling very sleepy. I just want to know where I am so you all should not be worried just in case. I'm glad to be home, though. And Mikage, I just read your post in the "pokes anc" thread, I hope you are ok!! And as for everyone, I hope everyone is doing well, I'm recovering as well. Good luck everyone.
"I'm been out..."
I meant "I've been out..."
grr...

Thanks everyone so much!! Yeah, Yugi, this is the same surgery I mentioned in the last topic I made here. And snortstah, if you really want to know about my surgery I guess the doctor told me it wasn't serious. I wore a steel bar under my ribcage (upper chest) last August due to my right rib cage being sunken in (I was born with it). The first surgery was a nightmare and hurt like mad. I finally went back this August and had it removed. My rib is better but only slightly uneven (but I feel like my side is even, though).
You see, I was born with an uneven body. Imperfect body. My shoulders are off, one smaller than the other. This goes the same for my left leg and the arch under my foot (it's higher than my right). And my arm, my left one, is shorter than the right.... and lastly goes with my ribcage being sunken in. It looked terrible and had to wear mostly loose shirts. It stunked. I was the only one in the family with this problem, though. :(
And thanks again everyone!! I'm feeling so much better now that the bar is long gone. Whew.... :D

Wow, Melfina, you really have courage to be so strong. I grew up with a girl who was born without an elbow so her left arm was shorter than her right. And I grew up with another girl who was born without a backbone so they took a bone from her leg and put it in her back. (I met a lot of people growing up as an Air Force brat.)
Really glad to hear you're doing better!

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling better now.
I am hoping I won't have to go through another surgery as bad as this one.
It was a pain, but I'm ok, now. Thanks again.
