Tell me what you think of this one, b/c I honestly can't make heads or tails of it. This took me a while to finish, but I guess it was worth it.

More To Me

When you first saw my face,
I could see no trace of emotion.
You looked into my eyes,
Trying to hide, the fact ,
That you could find nothing.

But there is more to me than you can see.
The things I do mean nothing.

My soul obsessions and life long dreams,
My accomplishments and golds.
Are mere shadows to you,
Or so I’ve been told,
And I believe it too.
So what do they mean to you?
Nothing...
It’s sad but true...

Yet you mope and cry when I get agitated,
You grab my side and say you care.
Well if you do then why am I invisible to you?
Do I exist in your eyes?
Or am I a mere toy in your little game?
Every man is always the same...

Do you mean to put me down,
Crash my world into the ground.
Mock my intelligence and wisdom,
Interfere with my work?
Say you love me,
With that devilish smirk?

But there is more to me then you can find.
My thoughts could never be defined,
By your childish acts.

Shadow in my light,
Cloud in my clear sky.
Why do I feel this way about you?
B/c you lie,
Your treachery is long going, never ending.
I don’t know if I can go on...
It’s holding me back...

But there is more to me than this feeling.
I love you still and it will remain.
No matter how hard I try,
I can never hide,
The fact that it remains true,
As do you...
