Do you think we need more rules here on AG???
Yes or No
I think yes becouse there are some posts wich are insaulting people...
And those large signatures sometimes take a long time to load up...
That makes the site slower and some new ones dont want to be member when it is that slow some times...... and that is bad :(
Here are the rules on my forum:

RULES
1. Be respectful. Computer World's administration are here running the board to give all of you an enjoyable place to hang out an have fun, and give information from member to member. Most of all, show respect towards the other members. Any disrespectful behavior will result in warning and possible ban.
2. The best way to become a Moderator is to help all the new members be respectful and give out good information, and try to stay active without spamming.
3. Have some responsiblity. Let it be known that the Computer World's staff takes no responsibility for the content of the message forums here. We support free speech to the fullest, and will not censor anybody based on their beliefs. As a result, we urge visitors to proceed with caution when viewing the forums.
4. Multiple user accounts are prohibited. Any user to be found with more then one registered account at Computer World forums will have all accounts banned with IP.
5. No spam. Posting messages that are obviously off-topic, irrelevant, or just plain stupid is prohibited. Posting anything regarding your post count is considered spam.
6. No piracy. Posting links to pirated images, movies, computer software and music is strongly prohibited. Note that we don't mind discussion of such things; for example, asking a question like "What is a good file-sharing service?" is fine. But no links to actual content.
7. No flaming. Making repeated and/or harsh verbal attacks against another forum member is prohibited. If you have a disagreement and/or a debate, that's one thing. If you post a profanity-laden message directed solely at another user, that's a flame, and it's over the top. Offending messages will be moved off-site and preserved.
8. No trolling. Posting messages specifically to provoke a reaction is prohibited. For example, going into the HD forum and posting "ALL HD SUCK." That is trolling, and will not be tolerated.
9. Signatures. Users are limited to max. 2 banner/tag/signature image at a time, and max. size is 400x100 pixels. Violation of this rule will result first in administration removing the banner and leaving a warning in the signature, second offense will result in a personal warning and request to remove the extra image, and third warning will result in banning. Sorry, but we have limited space, and we can't have you sucking up our bandwidth with four oversize pictures of your computer or website. |

i dont know if i have a say so in it at all but i think that the rulez are fine the way they are but thats just my opinion

i mainly agree with the large signature rule. everything else is pretty much covered in the current rules.

The large signatures do have go, ones like mine arent as bad but the huge ones eat up alot of bandwidth and slow down the forum. As for people insulting, just report them to one of the mods, trust me we will get it resolved, especially if its in my sections. We can be everywhere at once so we still need your help.

so u means u want me to let all the sig a bet small? but how wide and how long??

if the rule is put in action, then it should be based on size not dimentions. but they should also be horizontal too, so people don't have to scroll down long vertical sigs.

Well, without the members AG as a whole would be pretty boring. K would just have to post all day, talking to himself.

I say that most of the rules are fine, except yeah, the sig thing should be how it was at Anime Star... 500x500... It is reasonable... Nothing like ashton's girl's old thing... that thing was freakin huge!!

I really think the rules are fine....but also we dont need to over do the sigs. Like dragonmaster is a resonables size.....>< I mean just put it as smaller size....Cause its really annoying to have to scroll down and all you see is this sig. <<; Thats how it was in my last forum that i was at. It was really anoying. Just be smart and dont have it to large. And also i try to fix any of the language. I usually miss some and i try not to be insulting...(like on my Dane Cook topic.) Sorreh i think i totally missed some things on there. <<;, but anyways i try to clean the things that i copy and paste. So..yeah back to the topic. I think the rules are just fine.
