This poem was written last year. I wrote it because my friend was going through some troubled times, and she was seriously considering suicide. But, I'm happy now, :D that things have gotten better. But the poem doesn't necessarily reflect that.

Confessions made,
people cry,
beauty dies,
as hatred flys.

She is there in your face,
as she tells you her life.
It is all about anger,
and all of her strife.
You want to help her,
but you can't lift your face.
And you let her stand there,
with all of that hate.

The feelings grew with time,
soon, she wants no more life.
There are so many reasons,
that she would soon die,
but still you hold motionless,
and live through your lie.

The plunge is deep,
and she is gone.
But you can never forget,
what you could have done.
You were there with her,
all through this time.
But as a friend,
you were not worth a dime.
Because now, as you can see,
she is gone from you eternally.

You could have done something,
but you held back.
Afraid that maybe,
you would be attacked.
And you never tried,
you never took motion,
while she was there,
with no emotion.

Life could have been saved,
a soul released,
but because of your fear,
it was ceased.
Taken away, by the hands of nature,
and now you feel like a wild creature.
One with no heart, no beauty, no love,
because you are responsible,
for losing this dove.
